There is nothing that the Hoax networks come out with that I will believe.

yes.

And instead of paying her off, I admitted it and took full responsibility like a man does.

shouldnt need good expensive lawyers to fight false accusations If they take it to the right court it wont even matter what lawyers you have

That’s not true at all. During the #MeToo frenzy allegations equaled firing on the spot

There’s was no court other than public opinion at the time, the Dems completely weaponized it

Ok so if she publicly claimed that you sexually assaulted her but you know, obviously, that it’s a complete lie, for whatever her ulterior motives may be……and her lawyer suggested that it will all go away if you just pay xyz amount - what would you do in those type circumstances?

Sounds to me like it was an affair, she was married, and Hegseth preferred to keep it quiet. He probably cut off all contact, she got pissed, and filed a bogus police report. That didn't work so she sued. Instead of going to trial, Pete just settled. He really had no choice.

The fact is it's very hard to prove what happened once both were inside the room. Could he have raped her? Sure, it's possible, but highly doubtful considering she voluntarily went to his damn hotel room while married.

Then it shouldn’t be news.

You can’t claim to be a journalist / news organization and also print stuff like this that has nothing to do with his ability to do his job, or any bearing from a legal standpoint. Unless you want to smear someone of course, which is all this is.

settled because it was during the “Me Too” movement and he didn’t want to lose his job at the network if the accusation became public.

Seemed like a logical decision based on the stupidity of the time.

Did they find a stain on that woman's blue dress? Oh wait that was Slick Willie not Hegseth. Seems it's OK for a DEMOCRART president to nail a staffer and be diefided but a citizen can't. The irony and hypocrisy is thick.

Why? Just like the kavanaugh accuser and trumpsn20 accusers most of them are fake.

Fix the system that makes it cheaper and more convenient to pay an accuser.

Make it more benefecial to defend yourself in court.

Make it severely punishing to bring forth false allegations.

Until then. Its all noise.

At least he paid her with his money rather than our money unlike the members of the body that will stand in judgement of him.

I sure wish they would release the names of the sexual assault slush fund congress uses.
