Perfection. Difference between a right-wing and left-wing person.

Nicklas Nilsson explains the difference between right-wing and left-wing people in a razor-sharp text:
If a right-wing person is gay, then he is, and he couldn't give a damn what others think of it.
If a left-wing person is gay, then he demands legal changes, protests against everything and everyone, and turns it into a political battle.
If a right-wing person is vegan, he just doesn't eat meat.
If a left-wing person is vegan, he wants to ban meat, stop food production, and protest in front of farms and poultry farms.
If a right-wing person isn't allowed to have guns, he just doesn't buy any.
If a left-wing person isn't allowed to have guns, he tries to ban them, prevents others from owning them, and hates those who do have them.
If a right-wing person is worried about the climate, he flies less, drives an electric car when it suits him, and sorts his waste.

If a right-wing person wants to give his children a good school education, he moves to a neighborhood with good schools, chooses a private school, or gets involved himself.

If a right-wing person is dissatisfied with his house or rent, he moves, renovates, or buys something else.
If a left-wing person is dissatisfied with his house or rent, he demands a rent freeze, more subsidies, regulations for everyone, and protests against landlords and politicians.
If a right-wing person fails in a business deal or a failed investment, he gets up, dusts himself off, and tries again tomorrow.
If a left-wing person is out of money on the 24th, he blames the rich for having too much and needing to contribute more, blames the lottery winnings that didn't come in last week, and grumbles that he has such bad luck.

In summary, people on the right accept who they are and don't care what you think about it. Lefties expect to be treated differently according to how they identify and it becomes an issue if you don't.

Left wing people are power hungry, seek it in groups and will use violence to assert themselves.

This is mostly true GB.
It's the locus of control.
When you believe you're in control of yourself, you're a pretty happy person. When you believe others control you, you're a very miserable person.
That would have to be a sad existence.
Btw, I do know some, thankfully not most, miserable so-called conservatives who are miserable because they believe Biden, Obama, Clintons control their lives. If you have the right principles in life, you know even under dirtbags like the 3 mentioned, your life isn't controlled by them.

I see it a little differently. It looks to me like the core theme is the level of acceptance. I see it as "I hope we can get along" versus "I demand you approve of me!"
What I mean by that is that for the conservative, something is usually just a part of who they are: sexual proclivities, diet, movie genre, whatever.
For the liberal, especially the deeper you get into progressivism, they consider that thing to be an intrinsic part of their core identity. They brandish that part of their core as a challenge: "you must accept me or else" (the "or else" is that they'll throw a loud, confrontational, and sometimes violent fit in an attempt to bully you into acceptance... there is an irony there).
But it's not just "acceptance" (which they desperately want), but the level of acceptance they want is adoration and they want it to be based on that part of core identity they are brandishing.
So they can't just be vegan, it has to be a lifestyle.
You can't just acknowledge their vegan-ism, you must accept it.
You can't just accept it, you must approve of it.
You can't just approve of it, you must prove it by making vegan food specifically for them.

You can't just insist it's not a bother, you have to agree that it's a sensible choice (at least for them to make).
And that's just for something simple like veganism.

There is a lot of truth in this breakdown, but it has not always been so. There used to be plenty right-wing authoritarians who, for example, would be focused on banning books, movies, etc. deemed to be obscene. The preacher character in Footloose would have been an over-the-top example of a right wing authoritarian.
Similarly, the left in this country used to claim to be "live and let live," seeking the repeal of laws banning homosexual acts and the like but not seeking to legislate their own visions of morality by making others use certain pronouns, etc.
Not all that long ago, there were plenty of people who could be described as either left-wing or right-wing libertarians, with the lefties more focused on social freedoms and the righties more focused on economic freedom. Heck, Bernie Sanders used to be against gun control! Oh, how far we have come.
