You can continue to go thru life being a disingenuous a-hole, but no one knew who the judge was going to be until AFTER Comey was charged. Comeys son-in-law met with the judge presiding over the grand jury before the indictment
quote:
U.S. Magistrate Judge Lindsey Vaala presided over the seven-minute court session when a federal grand jury impaneled in Alexandria, Virginia, returned the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey, Thursday night.
And after he left her courtroom, he resigned. Youre a fricking POS trying to muddy the waters, when he should have never tried to intervene on the DOJs behalf, when the case wasnt assigned to him. And the judge should have never taken a 30 min meeting from a relative, prior to the reading. Go frick yourself

That judge should never have taken that meeting. He MUST recuse,.
At least release notes from the meeting. It is theoretically possible but highly unlikely that they talked about another matter. Recusal would be the best thing for the case but I doubt that the judge does it.

The OP was confusing. It wasn't the trial judge with whom the Son in Law met. It was the magistrate judge who presided over the grand jury proceedings.

This is the way the two-tier justice system works …. a very common tale

The skeptic in me has to wonder why they were meeting if Comey hadn't even been indicted yet. It's almost like they ALREADY KNEW he would be the presiding judge.
There was a public court hearing scheduled. This meeting happened just before the hearing. You can’t schedule a public court hearing without announcing who the judge is.

judge might have told him that he needs to resign and lawyer up
Bless your heart. You believe that?

Damn I missed that. I wish I could read that thread. Funny cause I actually thought he and her were married. Her responses to me were just to familiar.

I don't know the timeline here but do you think the judge had already been randomly selected as the presiding judge?
If he/she hadn't why would Comey's SIL want a private session with the judge?
If the judge hadn't already been selected then he would have asked for a meeting with a random judge who probably wouldn't even be on the case.

"Ha! Yeah, Hilldog shoulda' insisted on condoms. Ole Web knew better. He knew to blow that load on her face."
"Oh, yes! I like that. Wanna' show me the back of the plane?"
"I'll show you my rear if you'll show me yours."
"Oh, Mr.. President..."
