I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't understand the difference, but don't fool yourself into thinking she is not pro-higher wealth taxes also.

AND the event is tax-deductible

AND her plus one (I think) is one of the Lehman Brothers heirs

Who made her the one to determine how much is a reasonable amount of money?

Reading through a few comments shows those people are too stupid to realize capitalism lifts standards of living and not just one class but all classes.

Not actually true. The poor have consistently gotten poorer and the richer have gotten richer.

I don’t give a frick, I make six figures, but to act like it elevates all classes is total horseshite.

Nonsense.

Capitalism has absolutely lifted the standards of living both domestically and globally.

You should go to Scandinavia. Their living standards destroy ours.

Like I said, I don’t care. Not my problem. But to say capitalism lifts standards for all classes is just ignorant. Look at the wealth distribution in the country. It’s really not up for debate.

They still have capitalism there.

Not even close to what we have here, and you know it.

Your idea of capitalism raising standards for all classes does not apply to the American form of capitalism. Rich are getting richer, poor are getting poorer. It really is that simple.

You say this in one post, and then admit to voting for an administration that wants to kill capitalism.

You cannot vote for Biden and be pro-capitalism unless you are absolutely clueless.

Imagine being so stupid to think that taxing billionaires will

A) hurt them
B) help you

Money is fake bruh

It has super limited utility. I can buy the same shoes and truck as Jeff bezos. I mean it’s good to have but you run out of things to spend it on that give you any benefit

What’s messed up is that lazy people who don’t pull their weight have refrigerators and can go to the hospital for free. Me and Jeff work hard and we gotta pay for that shite

People who work like me and Jeff bezos are the poor ones. We don’t get to eat food stamp crab legs every night like the “poor” people on food stamps

And leverage that, through insider trading and sweetheart deals, into vast wealth.

It’s communism… we can be rich because we know what is good for everyone and we will run society, but you can’t.

You mean like how the poorest people in America are in the top 1% of wealth of the world?

Scandinavia has an extremely high tax rate. Those people that you claim have such a high standard of living have way less disposable income than us.

I don't view it that way.

Nothing Biden has proposed really kills capitalism.

I work at a financial firm so I'm pretty capitalist. I'd be a Republican if Mitt Romney had been running or someone relatively more normal.

Scandinavian countries are capitalist - high taxes does not make a state not capitalist. Jesus dude, how moronic do you sound.

Show me a person in America that is by your definition “poor” that has normal intelligence, and no physical disabilities, and I will show you a person that is remaining poor because of their own decisions. There is no country on earth, and I have been to a lot of them, where there is more opportunity to move from being poor to middle class or more, and do it without government intervention.

I work with one of these idiots. They think Bezos has a few billion parked in his Chase checking account.

What’s funny about these reported net worths, the second any of these guys tried to liquidate their positions, their net worth would crash as people dumped the stock.
