That map makes the mask mandate almost sinister in CT. They waited until the convexity went negative on case growth and then AFTER implemented it

He should do a map of Texas next time lol

Oops my bad he was joking

Fauci lied

the government was scrambling to collect PPE for HCWs

a lot of the issues with our societal response is due to the government lying (like that one) or talking out of their arse early on when they had no data

So wear a mask. No one is saying if you want to, you shouldn't. If you think it has value as PPE, go ahead, you shouldn't get sick if it works.

He lied when he responded with the conclusion of many studies over many years on it? You just don't like the conclusion he drew because you want a panacea. You can't wish an outcome into existence.

Did not realize Trump is liberal. If he is liberal who do you call everyone left of the political spectrum from him?

Know what else started out as a cult? Christianity started out as a cult. The same cult that now is the basis primarily for your chosen occupation as Judaeo-Christian beliefs are the basis of modern WORLD culture rooted in Laws, Mores, and foundational beliefs.

So are you saying cults are good or bad? Or are you being a typical DemProgFilthShitLib Hypocrite in that some cults are bad, and some cults are good as long as they align with your twisted dysfunctional brain?

Why can't every business in Harris and Dallas county open up if we have mask mandates?

I don't believe Fauci would sacrifice his entire scientific career/reputation like that.

If he knew shortages were an issue, he could have said we don't know yet about masks and this particular virus. He didn't have to be so specific about why they aren't effective. Those 2 main reasons he gave make perfect sense & I haven't seen you refute them.

Here is the commonsense way to determine your belief in masks. If you HAD to enter a place where you KNEW with 100% metaphysical certitude would expose you to Cov-19 or Ebola or whatever, what would you wear?

I won’t get sick because I keep myself in good shape and eat healthy

The average anti-masker probably can’t say the same

a. that's for influenza, specifically, and admits differences in other behaviors (hand washing) and respitory infections

quote:

Hand hygiene is also effective in preventing other infectious diseases, including diarrheal diseases and some respiratory diseases

b. it even says they aren't sure about the mechanisms of transmission

quote:

It is essential to note that the mechanisms of person-to-person transmission in the community have not been fully determined. Controversy remains over the role of transmission through fine-particle aerosols (3,46). Transmission by indirect contact requires transfer of viable virus from respiratory mucosa onto hands and other surfaces, survival on those surfaces, and successful inoculation into the respiratory mucosa of another person. All of these components of the transmission route have not been studied extensively.

that study says that hand washing, masks, and cleaning surfaces don't really stop transmission of the flu, btw

I think they should

I think the real problem is tackling how/who we admit to hospitals for Covid. I don’t think there is a real plan there, so every fat or over 40 plus years old with symptoms has a case to be admitted.

Come on, guy. That was the joke. Did you even read my post about the CT numbers?

Masks work so well that they go back in time to prevent infections...

You think that was a post in support of mask mandates?

I do not think you realize what you just said. Te government lied saying the mask do not work so they can save some for hospital workers.

If this is true, then if this virus was actually killing people who were healthy, the government knowingly killed them all because they had to save mask for hospital workers. This is borderline Genocide, but instead of attacking a race , they are attacking everyone who is not in healthcare. Thats pretty scary man
