I am in agreement, every fricking one of them. And then clean house. Top to bottom. All the bureaucrats, gone with their cronies. I want housing the housing market to crash around DC.

How long before dudes like this pop off? I know quite a few retired and former military that say the exact same things but ... they all have families, houses, relative financial stability that is currently keeping them for doing the unthinkable. Should they lose that .... who knows?

The problem with that guys thinking is not voting guarantees your democrats and republican lifers get reelected. Because those voters won’t stay home.

yup, carpet baggers made their travelling cases out of carpet as it was cheap, durable, and could carry a lot, thus the term. Carpetbaggers were in the business of buying up property and valuables cheap from the spoils of war. Set taxes high knowing they couldn't be paid and purchasing at reduced price through auction for example.

Seems like Bambozzled, Flimflammed, or Hornswaggled would be a better choice of word.

But that's exactly what's going on now as well.

America is under siege by giant monolithic conglomerates like Black Rock, State St, Blackstone, Bill Gates and several venture capital corporatists. They are buying up residential homes, farmland, small/medium businesses, AND utility companies -- while conspicuously slapping up thousands of humongous AI Data Centers at an alarming rate.

I find it funny that folks still think voting will change anything. Voting isn’t real. It’s all a show. The only way to get change would require marching on DC and taking over by force. The citizens (not enough of them, anyway) of this country don’t have the stones to do what needs to be done. We will all just continue to type away on our phones about how angry we are.
