Europe is on heightened alert. Several incidents and warnings floating around that threats are coming from either Russia or Iran.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Strange. When I bring it over here it doesn't show it. It's a government cyber security page with a tweet about a Livestream about "preparing for disruption." This one was John Rich or whoever that is quoting the tweet with the question marks but the tweet itself doesn't show. It's strange. I can see it in my X feed but not over here.

Key components of bases are, but for the entire base to function is a different scale.

Ha ha. I note that there is one CRITICAL thing that the public ‘stock up’ campaign omits. I guess for those who have sense enough to realize that the desperate heathen who would go rouge in the streets in such a scenario won’t just knock on the door and walk away when denied life sustaining goods from those who have them.
My Grandma told me that in the Great Depression that hungry people walked the roads and would stop and holler over the front gate and ask for work or food. She said it was very sad turning them away in order to feed her own. Her deeply felt emotive state stays with me to this day.
It’ll be gangs now. And they won’t be asking.
Side note: I was very glad to see the La. Guard show up right after Katrina. With guns, water and MREs. A couple of more days with all those cars full of urban New Orleans refugees parked on the road and out of gas and hell would have broke loose. I wonder if Landry has got this? I talked to Mike Foster back when and he assured me that our Guard was ready. Albeit things have changed a LOT since then.
