Breyer and Ginsburg sat for Jones v Clinton, who appointed them both. The request has no precedent to stand on.

If the law is legit then the “conservative” justices will rule for them. The activist judges are the ones considered on the “left”.
The appointment of “conservative” judges does not guarantee they will skew the law for a political win.
