House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has decided not to participate in the select committee investigating the Jan. 6 on the Capitol, yanking all of his GOP picks in protest of Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) decision to reject two top Republicans.
"Unless Speaker Pelosi reverses course and seats all five Republican nominees, Republicans will not be party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts," he said in a statement. LINK

McCarthy's on now claiming Pelosi is playing politics. I'm on his side of this whole BS, but he's doing the same thing by his committee picks.
ETA: He knew she would reject at least Jim Jordan and probably others.
