So you’re on record in favor of impeaching presidents on allegations alone without evidence? Looks like you are the one confused on the fact that Impeachment is supposed to provide the evidence, and the trial determines the validity of the accusation with the evidence provided.
The trial isn’t supposed to be where you Look for evidence, thats the impeachment.

How are you supposed to do that without evidence?
You dont indict someone to find out if an allegation is credible lmao you do that before you impeach..thats what pre-impeachment hearings, inquiries, and subpoenas are for. The trial is presenting and making judgement on the evidence, not discovering evidence.

no. the House must present a prosecutable case. Its not the Senate's job to search for evidence.
