The difference is support. Trump has support from his base, some independents and even some democrats to fix the border crisis. Look at the approval ratings of the SOTU and his polling. Without support they would not even attempt it. A National Gun Control emergency will never see 50% support. Even if it did it would be unconstitutional. Unless they have the votes in congress to amend the constitution it is not happening. If they do its over anyway. The New Green Deal climate crisis boondoggle will not survive the 2020 election cycle. The Dems are going to scrape that off like dogshit on their shoe "with extreme prejudice" and try to find a new center they can rally around.

I was more excited that she came our swinging trying to show how dumb it is. Like I said, I would have used climate change or healthcare to avoid constitutional argument, but I think she was just making a point

All these people scared about precedent right now need to grow a pair. It's do something now or kiss shite goodbye. The democrats long game is to turn Texas blue through illegal immigration and voter suppression. Once that happens, they will not give a frick about any of you anymore.
