Oh shut the hell up. This tired response is tired. If anything was going to happen, it would have happened already. We're all keyboard warriors.

This should be front and center on every media outlet but sadly endorsed by the same hacks. Anything to fundamentally change America into a third world shite hole. Thank God for the Orange Maniac.

Everyone on this thread is acting as if this resolution addressed only voting by illegal aliens in federal elections (which is not permitted). It addressed NOT ONLY voting in national elections, BUT ALSO voting in state and local elections.
The federal government has NO Constitutional authority to tell state and local governments who can vote in state and local elections, outside the 19th and 26th Amendments (no discrimination based upon sex or age, respectively).
This is one of the rare instances in which the Dems are completely correct ... even if one questions their motivations.

That doesn't take away from the fact that their crying about election meddling is merely virtue signaling of the highest order. You can't on one hand talk about the sanctity of a democratic election and simultaneously support non-citizens voting in state and local elections. That's a recipe for corruption.

Set aside emotion (which you normally do quite well) and ask “If Rogelio lives in East Bumphuk, TX, owns a home, and pays taxes to the school district, why should he not vote to choose the people who will be spending that tax money?”

Illegal aliens interfere in our elections way more than Russia ever has. Their interference leads to increased votes for the democrats. Russia doesn’t even impact the results of our elections according to the DOJ.

I'm curious when folks in the middle are going to wake up and realize that Pelosi and the Dems' sole purpose is to subvert our republic and turn it into a Third World shithole where they're the ruling class. Virtually every move they make is to pander to various groups so they can secure their vote and they move on to the next "marginalized" community.
This is about assisting them to retain power, and nothing more.

You think it is an "emotional" reaction to think non-citizens shouldn't be voting?
I mean come the frick on man. That's just lazy.

You morons act like American conservatives invented the idea of legal folks voting.

Open borders.
No ID required to vote.
Illegal immigrants should vote.
This is how you ruin a country.

What a terrible argument that no doubt would be easy to turn around on anyone who made it, if that person were honest.

Um, yeah. This isn't even odd. Your fraudulence is showing through again dude.
A resolution is saying, "hey, we think that what you're doing over there is bull shite".
There's LOTS of shite the constitution allows that maybe ain't a great idea to actually do. Sheesh.

What are the objective reasons that a local resident should NOT have a say in local matters? The fact that New Zealand says “no,” is not an objective analysis. It is simply an example.
Rogelio is not setting foreign policy or funding the military, when he votes in a school board election. He is simply helping decide whether it is better to use local resources to build a library OR a new sports stadium.

There will be a breaking point, no one can say what will happen as it will be fluid and effective.

It may be at keyboard warrior stage now but anyone with a functioning brain can see it is going to bust like a balloon with justice or unrest.

Hank is just being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian. He knows damn well what the frick is wrong with Dems opposing something like this.
