Good grief! I’ll give them credit; it’s impossible to rebut the sheer volume of nonsense they vomit out.

Ten minutes into the video in the OP she has said nothing strange. She just talks about how we used to be able to support a family on one blue collar income and now we can’t, and that the American Dream has gone wrong. Nothing terribly controversial there. Like most people, she gets it wrong, but that’s not the point.

Then the idiocy starts. She says there used to be two systems: the American and the British. The British system was based on perpetual war, money and power. The American system was based on are we advancing, what are we producing, are we prosperous. WAIT! Are we prosperous? Isn’t that about money? But this is the sort of nonsense she spouts with a straight face, and if you are not skeptical you will pass right on by.

After the 11 minute mark, the nonsense comes at such a great volume that it’s impossible to keep up. She says that most major countries in the world were “following the American system” at the end of the 19th century. And then asks, “Were you ever taught about the American system?”

Hell yes, we were! They didn’t use that term you made up, but we were absolutely taught that American was something new in the world; it was the wonder of the world; that the old world held its breath that a democratic republic could take its place among the leading nations of the world and thrive.

But these yo-yos assert that, no, this was kept hidden from us. And if the viewer is not thinking critically this passes unchallenged as fact. These idiocies, and outright dissembling, comes so fast and furious that rebutting them is hopeless.
