It should be illegal for them to fine users at all.

They can refund buyers and recoup it from sellers, but not fine users.

To all you damn "Rino's" let this be a lesson....like the old saying goes: "if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". You can't reason with these people so damn it...take a stance for once in your life!!!

Oops. This wasn’t supposed to be released until after the election.

Friend tried canceling. He said they are requiring you to call in to cancel now. This has to be into the millions to evoke a phone in policy to stop the bleeding.

IOW, there was a severe backlash once they got caught.

Still canceling the Fascist frickers.... Don't buy the reverse bullshite for a minute. It was what they wanted, and who they are, and they reversed it as soon as the mass blowback started

Dunno if it was a mistake

It is absolutely a MAJOR mistake if ANYONE in ANY COMPANY/BUSINESS even thinks they have the legal or moral right at any point in time to censor customer's social media accounts for what THEY consider "misinformation".

And ANYONE who thinks this would ever be acceptable is as anti-American as one can be.

They can go frick themselves....

Clickfunnels 2.0 is coming out this month and will have its own payment platform. At the conference last month they said from the stage they will never censor freedom and built their 2.0 platform to cut the legs out from under Shopify, Facebook, PayPal, and many other platforms that are censoring people. They talked about what’s happening now and what’s coming, and how they want to be the alternative.

Any occurrence of that "fine" would have been equivalent to Grand Theft.

Just because they backed down now, doesn't mean they wouldn't try it or something just as absurd again in the future. F'em!!

Thanks for the reminder. I just closed my account I’ve had since PayPal basically began.

Get woke, go broke.

I am a little confused about how they find these misinformation comments.. Would Paypal have scoured the entire internet to find your comments? So if I would have commented something on Tigerdroppings that wasn't true Paypal would know and fine me $2500? I have a few aliases on the internet would they know/think it's me because of my IP address?
