State AGs office takes over the case after the presiding DA and Judge are forced to recuse over COI concerns. Total shitshow.
State AG lawyers, backs against the wall because the victim is now refusing to testify, negotiates a plea deal with a 30 day sentence.
Judge says “make it 60”.
That’s what he’s upset about.

I don’t think it’s very difficult for the Texas AG to make sure a guy who raped a 8-10 year old kid for years, does his entire 60 day sentence and gives up his law license (things the rapist agreed to BTW). It’s embarrassing and disgusting to think otherwise.

You think they had a choice? They couldnt try him without the victims testimony and they already failed to convict him with it. We are talking 30 extra days on the sentence.
