The person you replied to, while hyperbolic, does have a valid point.
You would never see a progressive anywhere, OP included, rag on any authoritarian progressive cause. Yet in this thread, you have many Christians agreeing that what is happening is wrong and it was wrong for Trump to support this person.
So basically everyone agrees with the OP, and he just can't help himself when asked about his own hypocrisy.
Again, this is why, as an atheist, I will never vote alongside the OP again. These people are disingenuous assholes and will mock you even when you agree with them. They still hate you and view you as their enemy regardless.

I disagree with this part. People being led astray by a false Gospel is pretty high on the list of things to be concerned about. I don't know about "outrage," but these charlatans are an anathema. And they aren't "Protestant." Just because they follow a different set of heresies (but see indulgences and relics) than the Romanist cult leaders doesn't make them "Protestant" any more than a false claim to Apostolic succession and succession from the original true Church makes Romanists "Catholic."

I'm more outraged about a dude sticking his Johnson in anothers guys exit and claiming thats grounds for a marriage. I wouldnt even want to see the kids produced from that, let alone smell one
Also more outraged that a feller can go out on a Sat night and get shot down all night at the bar, and can just wake up the next day as a woman. Thats fairly outraging
I'm even more outraged that Dr. Seuss books were pulled from the library, yet "My Mommy is a Rug Muncher" is still there, and not a single rhyme can be found
The most outrageous thing is an illegal getting $4100 a month in SS benefits, and being able to vote after obtaining a stolen SS#. Which was processed by a now fired govt worker, who judges are forcing back on the job
But the thing that gets me most outraged is these same judges are ordering a group of tattoed boys to be returned to the US for their group meetings at a Colo apt building, yet the cops show up at my house if too many cars are parked in the cul-de-sac for Bible study

Trump needs to dump the prosperity gospel grifter, but it's always funny when someone outside a group gets upset because the group isn't offended enough. Like when white women get upset because blacks don't think something is racist or understand it's just a joke.
People like to hold members of a group to their own false perception of that group, and then get upset when the group doesn't behave in accordance with their own misperception. It happens to Christians and MAGA a lot.
