I love it too but it has become a shite hole along with Canal Street. You run into a drug addict or homeless with every step. When Marcello and his associated restaurant and bar owners were around they would never allow this to happen. Bad for business. Business seeks its own level. That’s why it’s become an “a one low price all inclusive” destination spot.

Very tired of these pricks categorizing New Orleans and the quarter as a shite hole. Does NO have lousy leadership. No doubt. Does America have lousy leadership right now. Without a doubt.
New Orleans and the French quarter can be the greatest free and fun loving place in our country. It has elegance, class and yes decadence. It's mostly what you make it. People from all over the world come to New Orleans to enjoy the freedom to celebrate with open containers, dancing in the streets and some of the best food anywhere. Wealthy people just like Paul and Livvy can afford to be anywhere they want but they chose to be in New Orleans. Wake up. There is a reason wealthy people flock to New Orleans .

It certainly has its problems, and most people avoid those areas.
But to think celebrities aren’t safe there is comical.

Respectfully man, the qtr is an absolute fricking dump. It shouldn't be. It should be a gem to this nation. Such a unique, historical, and cool area. It is genuinely depressing. All of New Orleans is depressing.
