MORE: Congress is ready to fund the construction of the wall - US House of Representatives Speaker LINK

quote:

The US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin) told MSNBC that the Congress is ready to fund the construction of the wall. He also noted that “there are a lot of different ways of getting Mexico to contribute to doing this.” As of now, the forecast cost of the project ranges between $8 billion to $14 billion, Ryan said.

House and Senate Republicans are moving ahead with allocating between $12 billion and $15 billion to build the wall, Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) told reporters on Thursday. Asked if they were concerned about US-Mexican relations, Ryan responded, “I think we’ll be fine.”

If constructed, the envisioned wall would be 2,000 miles (3,200km) long.

Good. Do it. I see it as a national security priority that can be easily paid for by savings and an over all improved economy due to Trump's policies.

I wish the private sector had that kind of range when bidding projects

It's happening. I never thought I'd see this day, but Trump has proven the whole planet wrong over and over. No reason to start doubting now.

No complaints - it's what the country voted to construct. I would just note that it is typical of the government to waste billions of dollars building something that won't be very effective. But, the teamsters will be happy.

But, but, but....what about housing the 35,000 workers in the middle of the desert? It will cost at least $45 billion to haul away their shite and piss.

So nobody here even gives a frick that despite repeated claims belt Trump that we wouldn't pay for it, we are paying for it? None of you care that he lied?

My goodness, he has his followers completely brainwashed.
