James Gunn did the exact same thing and then some. Yet he’s back to direct another major marvel film bc we “needs our super hewo movies”.
Hollywood is full of sick fricks like these guys. But god forbid one of them tweet any sort of conservative viewpoints. They’ve tried like hell to kill Chris Pratt’s career for stuff like that.

Don't really care for Patton but when you live by the mobs whims you have to placate them. He will lose his living if he doesn't. Not from those people not watching his content but by being blackballed from the industry by those in power in it. Chapelle is largely immune to this since he has a much more popular product and isn't beholden to the same forces Patton is.

Patton Oswalt has his comedy career and had to have made something from the 43,286 tv and movie appearances that he's made over the years...and I'm guessing that he had a fat insurance policy on his wife.
