I honestly don't know. It's probably much more of a federal issue. I do know that Abbott has encouraged mass immigration, but I'm not sure how much he can deter it. Locals fighting against new places of religious worship is probably the best bet, but it's probably too late for places like Frisco.

I am on board we have an immigration issue, but hard no on trouncing on religious freedom as long as it doesnt infringe on others

That’s what I can figure from this as well.
The guy wants to adjust the immigration policy for India, and maybe he should run this idea up the food chain to his congressman.
