I read an article about Trump’s approval numbers and it made the point that normally there is a sort of bell curve for the polls and the RealClearPolitics average has some meaning. But now there are two clusters (he called it bi-model) of polls so the RCP is meaningless. And he pointed out that the two clusters aren’t just libs and conservatives; there is a sprinkling of each in each cluster.
