Republican primaries are any indication of how Republicans are going to perform against Democrats

They clearly are. Republican candidates who were endorsed by Trump and who won their primaries -- like the twin "scandal piñatas" Mike Collins and Ken Paxton -- are going down in FLAMES vs their Democratic opponents in the general.

Soledad O’Brien had a moment when she talked to Jesse Jackson. She was commenting on some problem she has been recognized by a certain community and without saying the word he tapped his finger on her hand. He was indicating she is too light skinned.

I interrupt to remind him I'm the anchor of American Morning. He knows that. He looks me in the eye and reaches his fingers over to tap a spot of skin on my right hand. He shakes his head. "You don't count," he says. I wasn't sure what that meant. I don't count -- what? I'm not black? I'm not black enough? Or my show doesn't count?

In the excerpt, O'Brien goes on to describe feeling angry and embarrassed. " Jesse Jackson managed to make me ashamed of my skin color which even white people had never been able to do," she writes.

This is one of the dumbest posts I've read on here. You need to buy a dictionary, dude. If women and minorities are "everywhere," then how is it tokenism?

I like how the under 40 Republicans say they will sit on their arse and not vote because their candidates lost in the primary. And then they turn around and blame MAGA for their own inaction.

Younger generations have no accountability. They're always blaming older people for their own shortcomings.

My candidate didn't win, so I'm going to sit at home and pout instead of voting. Letting democrats win will show all you cultists how much we matter.

Such a childish, petulant, retarded reaction. You guys seriously can't see that you are acting exactly how older generations perceive the youth. Full of fire and emotions, not so much with the logic and reason.

If democrats win, it will be because of people like you, not the MAGA people who get out and vote. Of course, you will double down and blame everyone but yourselves for your own actions. Just like the left does.

Trump’s big moments last night were getting an absolute RINO in Byron Donalds through in FL and his hand picked SC Senator in the spotlight:

Coming to this board to complain about people being mean to DJT is classic Trumpanican behavior.

Was trump right about the Iran bombing in June 2025?

I have no party, you idiot. A simple review of my posting from inception years ago shows that I am an independent (no party in Louisiana) and that I have voted strictly republican my entire life.

Trump lost me by his lack of fiscal restraint and the starting of an excursion into the Middle East that was totally unnecessary at this time in his presidency.

Have to appreciate the honest self-appraisal the America-hating socialist democrats provide. At least they're honest w/ their intent.

The republicans, however, pretend to want smaller and more fiscally responsible government, less corruption, more personally responsible citizenry, etc., and do nothing toward those ends when they get into office. In fact, Boomer in Chief has done the exact opposite of most everything he ran on.

Democrats only believe in diversity of looks, not ideas or thought. They all believe the exact same stupid shite.

Zero diversity in thought.

I think a lot of hard core conservatives didn’t agree with Trumps pick of Byron Donald’s. I don’t know why panic and would be upset that Donald’s won . He is better for the deep state than Collins , Renner or Williams would have been .
