Similarities: Both Indian and French Rafales are 4.5-generation multirole fighters with similar airframes, engines (M88), and core systems (RBE2 AESA radar, SPECTRA). They share key weapons like Meteor, MICA, and SCALP and are designed for versatility across air, ground, and maritime missions.

Doubtful. Ukraine has shot down plenty of MiG 29 and Su 30’s.
Modern AA systems can take down any of these platforms. Including the Rafale. India doesn’t have the upgrade/domestic version of either Russia or France’s planes, and certainly doesn’t have the same quality of pilots or tactics.

It's not the plane, it's the pilot. Also, if you just casually fly into airspace not knowing if there are AA batteries on the ground, it doesn't really matter what you are flying, as long as it isn't stealth designed.
