I am all for a compromise, possibly with a long term path to citenzenship, but border security, chain migration, reforms have to happen. If the Dems don't want to compromise then, hey hey, ho, ho, DACA kids have got to go...

The only reason the democrats care about this is potential votes. It is a non starter if that is something they think they are getting imo. I don’t care whose fault it is that dreamers are here in this position, but there has to be punishment and we have to prevent undermining of our government system.
If they want to show true allegience to the country and win it back through military service then I am all for it.

This needs to be hammered over and over. "The Democrats have no willingness to negotiate on any part of comprehensive immigration reform. I've spent a lifetime in business making deals that has made me a billionaire. In my time in business, rarely have I ever gotten everything I wanted. If I went in to every situation,unwilling to budge on any portion of a deal, I would never have attained the level of success I have. I brought the democrats to the table..hell, I built the table! If our friends on the left want to pick up their ball and go home every time they don't get their way then nothing will ever get done. The stagnation of Washington is a large reason why I was sent here by the people. Our citizenry will not forget who was willing to come to the table and who wanted to hold their breath till they got their way. Sad!
