Fires were set on purpose

Exactly.

Pretty good idea to give the trucks a once-over to make sure they are mechanically sound, because having one break down could cause more problems for the firefighters than not having it at all.
The second largest city in the country has major fires in multiple areas with no weather relief in sight, and you really think they should hold up any form of relief?
Priority 1 is getting any resource you can in there to try and contain these fires, not worry about whether a tire is 3 PSI underinflated.

Remember in Armageddon when Bruce Willis said all this shite has to go?

doesn't matter. no incident commander is going to let some unknown truck on scene. its not like star wars where they'll let any random jawa or wookie join the effort. every state is going to give an out of state truck and crew the once over. is ca's more tedious? probably. but you have rocks for brains if you think help is being turned away over emissions

Desperately needed help is being delayed needlessly during an emergency due to typical California over regulation.

How much admissions are being generated by the fires compared to a truck……
The inspections have nothing to do with emissions

That's a fair argument but it's not because of emissions testing. No reason we can't just be honest here.

Yes you’ve stated this a dozen times. I’m glad you’re here to goaltend

Wasting time checking the brakes and tires is just as frivolous as emissions would be right now.

These fact checking, elitist dems that don't live in a rural community don't want to address these msm headlines for accuracy.
They are way to educated to fall for this nonsense.

"After passing the inspections, the teams arrived in Los Angeles and are on the fire lines now."
So the next day? I would suggest that time is of the essence, which brings to question what “repairs” were necessary.
Were they documented?
I mean, if it doesn’t allow for the equipment to be functional while on the front lines, then okay.
However, if the repairs involved changing out the mufflers in order to meet California emissions standards, then that is grossly unacceptable.

its not needless. again, no incident commander is going to let any unknown truck onto their scene. once that truck and crew enter the scene, they're the ic's responsibility. this isn't a difficult concept to grasp. well, maybe

Are you really this stupid? You think when there’s a hurricane that Louisiana and Florida DOT are out there inspecting every power truck brought in and working?
If someone from Oregon was willing to drive a vehicle from Oregon to Cali, there’s absolutely 0 frickin reason you stop them until they get on site and get their arse to work asap. These arent jabronis off the street trying to hand out food, they are Oregon FD trucks and employees. lol

I say it is needless. This isn't deciding if Hillbilly Jim and his homemade jalopy can squirt water on a fire. These are operating trucks currently in service in the state of Oregon.

these fires alone have undone every single "gain" they had made in the entire United States from ALL of their climate nonsense. Every gain from moving on from coal... every gain from reduced car emissions... every gain.
Liberals are just losers. Complete losers in this world.

so some guys in an out of state firetruck roll up to the barricade and you just wave them on through, no questions asked?
show me how many scba and that they're full. whats the capabilities of your truck and crew? you'll need to meet with my captain to get up to speed on your mission. many more boxes to tick before anyone's heading into that scene
