Getting this law on the ballot would be a gift to the Republicans. Oregon has a pretty big hunting and outdoor tradition outside of the libtard hot spots of Portland and Eugene.
Republicans have always struggled getting the tree stand, center right libertarian type base that just want to be left alone and hunt to go out and vote. This would be a great way to activate these guys to get involved.

Without hunting and fishing, it leads to over population. These people that try to make these laws are morons.

The rural parts don’t have the number of voters to rival Portland and Eugene. It’s why both of those cities have such a massive chokehold on the state.

A couple of decades back, NJ banned bear hunting. The bear population exploded. The ban ended when a woman put her infant in its carriage in her suburban back yard and a bear tried to take it. She saw it just in time to chase the bear away.
Made a big splash in the news.

I can envision it now:
Cops pull someone over. The driver has a lit crack pipe. Rolls the window down, blows the hit at the officer. Asks, “Is there a problem?” ‘Yeah, we suspect you may have ground beef in the vehicle. You’re going to jail. Just smoke the rest of that crack and step outside the vehicle.’

Some of the dumbest people in our country are members of their state legislatures. We continue to elect morons to represent us.

Can the rest of us vote to change the name of the Oregon Trail?

Such a true statement. Many folks are so spoiled and wrapped into their comfy existence, they expect it will continue and they have a "right" to it.
Many folks forget that it's taken the blood of Americans to ensure our rights we enjoy today.
I do have full confidence that us folks down south understand this .....

That doesn’t just ban hunting and fishing. That outright bans ALL consumption of meat and animal products. Government enforced veganism.
Well, looks like WEF stooge won't even have to worry about infecting Oregon's meat supply with ticks. Gotta love it when the Woke Agenda does the heavy lifting for the Globalist scum.

Hey, no need for game wardens or enforcement if it is illegal, right?
Sounds like a year-round open season to me.

I wish they'd do that in Missouri, ark, etc...so ducks could grow in #s and Louisiana would get more

I hope it's that expansive because I want to see what it looks like when a whole state goes apeshit over not just being no longer able to buy meat, but at the loss of thousands of fast food and restaurant jobs. You get what you vote for.

I think they threw in fishing too
Without googling I assume the seafood industry and the trout/salmon industry are pretty substantial

This seems performative. Even if it passes, which I doubt, the courts will strike it down.
