India is currently facing significant power and fuel supply concerns, raising fears that some outsourced service centers could experience disruptions over the next couple of weeks.

There are also concerns about regional internet infrastructure. If Iran were to follow through on threats to disrupt undersea cables, it could impact connectivity and create additional disruptions for operations in India.

This is more support for onshoring jobs.

FYI, there are rumors that Trump is about to really attack H1-B and other visas Indians abuse

DEI will soon stand for Deport Every Indian.

Seems like this happens whenever someone tries to threaten the USD as the reserve currency.

Member when Iran tried to force payments in Euros rather than USD and then got fricked when the Euro-USD exchange rate significantly changed? I member.

He is too far right for his industry. He will always struggle for that reason alone.

Yes, I am happy if it stops companies from offshoring to India.

Also, I want every Indian gone. They have shown they are unwilling to assimilate.

I regularly have to deal with outsourced call centers and talk to reps who are often barely competent and difficult to understand. It would be one of Trump's crowning achievements if Indian call centers became a thing of the past and we could speak to native English speakers based in the US

Why is it hating on capitalism to prefer that those jobs be for American workers and to be able to speak to someone who doesn't have a heavy accent that makes it difficult to understand them?

“Also, I want every Indian gone. They have shown they are unwilling to assimilate.”

Admittedly based on anecdotal experiences, but I have not seen this at all. Are you talking about first or second generation?
