I think you are trying a bit too hard here. I understand your point, but also understand that this is the POTUS. He isnt going to be arrested and the media wont touch it.
There wont be traditional justice for this girl. The ONLY way to stop this behavior is to expose it. Is it morally right? No, but trying to equate these two transgressions as a "two wrongs don't make a right" axiom is extremely disingenuous.
If your sister was getting the shite kicked out of her by her husband and refused to report him, are you just as bad as your bother in law for reporting it without her consent?
