I have had a couple of EGDs as well as several colonoscopies. First several, I got Versed - best nap in the afternoon ever. Last few have been Propofol. It certainly knocked me out for the procedure but made me kind of hyper after waking up. I want my Versed back.

The more likely story is that he said he was going to pass on anesthesia so Pence wouldn't get sworn in then took it anyway.
Seems silly. If a President trips and knocks himself out, can't the VP take over without getting sworn in?
