One of my friends has a story about his dad telling him he absolutely could not date a girl he had started seeing. When he asked his dad why... He was told that she was his cousin.
I guess Omar's dad was too busy committing genocide to have that kind of discussion with her.

Maybe. Maybe not. That seems to be what they are investigating. But her answer doesn’t mean she married her brother it would point to her being married to a cousin of some distant relation. Her answer doesn’t even make sense if it were her actual brother.

Just a quick reminder for those who may forgotten.
The DSA playbook on how to skirt justice was laid out by Sea Shell Comey in the summer of 2016. Remember on national TV when Comey made the case to indict Hilldawg for using a personal email server to conduct official government business? Remember after that exhaustive presentation the 180 degree pivot where he stated, paraphrased,
"No reasonable prosecutor would pursue charges against Secretary of State Clinton because the evidence shows there was no intent on the SOS part to break the law."
In other words, if you are of a certain political class you have the "no intent" and "plausible deniability" get out of jail free card.
This ^^^^^ is what Omar will try to implement, and do not be shocked if it works.....because the judiciary is every bit as corrupt and compromised with leftist leanings as every other major institution in the US.

You need to re read the jest of the questions.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Wednesday called allegations that she married her brother “insane” – but didn’t entirely close the door to the possibility of being related to her ex-husband.
“Not to my knowledge,” Omar responded, when asked by MS NOW’s Chris Hayes if there was any “weird kernel of truth” to the claim that she wed her brother.
The decade-old allegations that Omar and her ex, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, got hitched in a failed effort to get him a green card originated on a “Somali blog,” and spread when “right-wing conspiracy theorists” latched onto it, Omar explained in her first interview since federal agents raided her Washington, DC, home last week.

That's literally all they got. They have no plans or ideas to make things better. Raise taxes, open borders, men in women sports, trans operations for kids... that's what they got.

Democrats invented "I don't recall" and "not to my knowledge". Many democrats have skated using this phrasing.

Where is the full question and answer to this?

That’s not what was asked. You need to watch the video I posted.

Your posted video doesn't seem to include the full question to which he's referencing a "weird kernel of truth."

The ol' "Hillary Dodge."

Damn. Her family moved from the other side of the world and it is possible she married a family member in the US?
What are the odds?
What are the odds?

There’s a reason I posted the video. The statement wasn't about him being her brother, it was about him being related to her in any way.

Correct. Just as the OP stated. Nobody got after the OP. Ronricks, incorrectly stated the OP misrepresented the question in his very poor attempt to defend Omar. That is why we are making fun of him. He posts with hubris while posting incorrect statements.
quote:
My parents grew up in the Midwest. My father was a Coast Guard aviator, so my family moved every couple of years, and I grew up all over the country but near the coast. My wife grew up in Baton Rouge. Her family is from Louisiana. If my wife was asked: "You're not related to him at all?" I'd expect her to say, "No." She could not be 100% sure, but she'd feel confident enough to say no. That question is lot more troublesome for folks who marry someone from the same area when both family lines go back decades or centuries. If a wife in that situation is asked: "You're not related to him at all?" I would not be surprised if she answered: "Not to my knowledge." The issue is not the breath of the answer. The issue is the breadth of the question. "You're not related to him at all?" People generally don't track relatives past third or fourth cousins. That's when you start getting into the notion of kissing cousins. After a point, certainty becomes difficult. If I married a girl from an area where one of my parents grew up, and she was asked: "You're not related to him at all?" I would not be surprised if she answered: "Not to my knowledge." As a matter of fact, that would be about the only correct answer.

If she lied about her age and married her brother to him in the US then that has been in black and white for years and it should only take a few min. to prove.
Sounds like BS with all this so called investigating.
She should have been long gone on that leaky banana boat to Haiti a long rime ago.
She is still being protected by the democraps.
