but in comparison to Joe Biden, there really is no comparison - on a personal level

but yes his presidential weakness is similar. But Biden is just getting started...his ineptitude may dwarf Carters' before its over

Carter was simply incompetent. Biden is both corrupt and incompetent.

Both are train wrecks.

Like Biden, Carter was in over his head. He was naive and inept. But unlike Biden, Carter truly wanted to do good, just had no idea what he was doing and his democrat ideology was bunk. Biden is demented but his 'overlords' know exactly what they are doing and imho they are who is leading Biden down this path of socialism/communism. It was and is now a most embarassing period in American history due to these two.

Btw, the Carter/Ford election was the first in which I was old enough to vote.

Carter was inept and overwhelmed by events.

Biden and his crew are mendacious.

Pretty much. Only I never perceived Carter to be malevolent. I think he really believed his own bullshite and was trying to do what he thought was the right thing. This guy and his party are evil to the core. They know that the crap they're doing isn't going to work and they only care about enriching themselves and getting through the next election cycle with as much power intact as possible.

NO.... Biden is worse. At least Jimmy C understood he was a bad pres, but he was a good guy. Biden has been terrible at most everything. In fact, we are finding out that Biden has been a crook and swamper for years, possibly worst that the Clintons. Jimmy was just a peanut farmer but a good guy that shouldn't have been president.

Carter's presidency was a disaster but Carter was much smarter and sharper than Biden. He probably still is at age 100 or whatever he is now.

Carter was demonstratively intelligent, if completely misguided...

This Plugs / Heels-Up debacle is far worse. IMO Jimmy Carter was a lovable dunce. A democrat nonetheless. When Carter blew-up the Iranian Rescue Attempt he was toast. Didn't even carry his home state.

Joe Xiden and Kamala Harris bunch scare me. Their policies is systematically destroying our nation. Some dark evil people lurking in the shadows of this Xiden / Harris administration.

Not in the least - Carter was merely incompetent - he was not motivated by evil, nor was he mentally incapacitated.

Carter is what pure incompetence produces, without being motivated by evil.

Biden (not really Biden = he is just a stooge, and is so dumb he probably thinks he really won the election and that his 'wisdom' is sought after) is not only incompetent, he is dumb - so dumb that he doesn't realize just how dumb he is.

So dumb he thinks that he is filled with wisdom and that is why everyone flocks around him and thinks that his words mean anything at all. So dumb that he doesn't even realize he is being led around by the nose by whoever is behind this global march towards tyranny.

What we are experiencing now is the product of a massive sedition within the USA, conducted by a faction that has been working for 100 years to take down the only nation that had the moral culture and the economic power and individual liberty to blunt their world domination goals.

Trump was a giant snag in their plan - it was working so well until he interrupted the process. Obama had seeded the deep state with enough radicals that a second 8 year reign by HRC would have cemented it into a reality = true global domination by a tyranny with China as the top dog.

Carter was a recoil from the Nixon blunder wrt Watergate. The media defined it as election meddling - while there was no chance in hell that Nixon was worried about McGovern. The Watergate break-in was technically illegal but it was really an operation by the 'plumbers' in attempting to stop the leaks of national security secrets that the DEMOCRATs were sanctioning.

Nixon should have owned up to it and suffered a few weeks of backlash, then moved on with his excellent administration. Instead he tried to cover it up = cover up always worse than the crime. The nation's overreaction to that sent Carter to the POTUS seat.

While Nixon is still a favorite goat being used as the standard of "worseness" for comparison purposes, the coverup sin he committed pales in comparison to every DEMOCRAT organization since - starting with Clinton, and peaked with Obama.

With Carter, he merely screwed up the economy and emboldened our foreign enemies.

The Biden* admin has done that much worse, but he* has also declared war on traditional US culture and invited the world's indigents to come here and help stamp out our traditional heritage of individual liberty, equal opportunity, and moral guidance.

We are now on the path to total domination by jack-booted thugs directed by tyrants. Future "elections" will be won by 90+ % margins and that tiny minority will be marched off to 're-education' camps.

Carter was a Saint compared to Biden*

* indicates the cardboard cutout stood up for public acclamation.

Not yet. I seriously doubt anyone who says it’s worse ever sat in a line to get $5 worth of gas.

Like some have said, it definitely has the potential to get worse. Remember Biden was in Congress then and an enthusiastic supporter of Carter’s policies

Carter wasn't crooked. Biden is crooked as they come. Hard to believe that Billy Carter and his beer drinking was the scandal of the day as compared to Biden's son of today.
