In Oklahoma the local school boards are the ultimate governing body. The state superintendent is more of an administrative role. Ultimately, schools decide everything on a local level, from budgeting to what books are allowed in the libraries, another of Walter’s boogie men

They need to require "anti-woke testing" for ALL teachers, including thorough social media background checks.
I am related to three teachers in Oklahoma, from Oklahoma, that are straight-up pinko and they're incapable of concealing it. Marxists have to broadcast their ideology to the world through every possible available channel including socials. It's like they see outspoken support of communism as a prerequisite to continued existence. fricking use it against them.

The problem is that a good percentage of the teachers, pushed by the teachers' union, do not represent the views of most of the state's constituents.
There are a shite ton of liberal whacko type teachers here in southeastern Oklahoma (the most conservative enclave in the state) that are pushing their ideals on to the children when it's the exact opposite ideals being taught in the home and in their community.
I know of several teachers that pushed students to protest things that the kids didn't even understand, but we're encouraged and pushed by the teachers.
Those teachers that want to teach something counter to what the parents want taught, have no place here in Oklahoma and hide b3hind the protection of the public sector teacher union.

Oklahoma should require a yearly study session of a couple of weeks based on The Black Book of Communism for every school and college from 6th grade on. The woke teachers would self deport.
