As a poster mentioned earlier, families of US citizens are separated all of the time by the legal system and nobody bats an eye.

The left doesn’t understand that by not enforcing laws and allowing ambiguous open borders is what causes these exact scenarios.
This is why the lefts policy/worldview is actually cruel. It’s cruel to those who came here, and it’s cruel to these people’s hometowns who lost productive taxpayers and left their families and communities to rot.

I immigrated to another country for a time. I did the paperwork. I had my shite in order. I got there and got a job. I filed and paid my my taxes. I never had an issue with the law or employment. Took about a year and a few hundred bucks in fees to go through the process.
My wife (no pics) is an immigrant here. She did the paperwork. She had her shite in order. She got here and got a job. She files and pays her taxes. She has never had an issue with the law or employment. Took her about a year and a few hundred bucks in fees to go through the process.
Just do what you are supposed to do and this shite won’t happen. And before anyone says “they don’t have the money for the fees!” how many pesos are they paying to these coyotes to get them across the border?

I do have sympathy for those that are showing up for their appointments like she did. Our do nothing, inept arse, Congress could sit down and revise our immigration laws, making the process more efficient. Deportations are only one part of the puzzle.
It's amazing that Congress does absolutely NOTHING. So we continue to see stories like this that keep us divided and fighting, while they steal us blind.
Actually fixing this would mean we might actually start looking at their fleecing of our money.
