Nah, I wasn’t trying to elicit a response from anyone in particular. It made me hopeful. Maybe his tenure won’t be Bobby Jindal’s third term.

Bobby J's two terms >>>> JBE's two terms.

Bobby J left the state with $1.6 B deficit.

JBE left the state with a $3 B surplus.

Explain why a $3B surplus is good. Explain why a $1.6B deficit is bad. Preesh.

How much COVID federal bail out money did JBE get from the Feds? $2 billion? More?

..and the surplus appears to be $330,000,000 not $3,000,000,000; big difference when you fudge the numbers by 10x.

..and this state is heavily tied to oil revenues and the price per barrel of oil dropped over Jindal's last 2 years in office over what was projected in the budget, hence the deficit.

He's been Govetnor for 2 and a half hours and it's still a swamp. Uniparty.

I don’t have a problem with him closing state offices but it’s pretty funny that’s his first act as governor.

Its a good start. Hopefully a lot will remain closed.

Source?

I know you can justify all of Jindal’s numerous failures but where did you find this number?

Permitless conceal carry will be taken up this spring, from what I heard. About time

I'm certainly not opposed, but the fact this one thing keeps constantly being brought up as a key issue facing Louisiana is astounding.

Young working people aren't leaving Louisiana for Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and Georgia because of lack of permitless conceal carry. We don't find ourselves scrambling to get a budget passed with all sorts of grift horse trading in the final hours because of lack of permitless conceal carry.

I see your point but that's the only issue I heard that will be taken up. Feel free to add other issues you may have heard also. But criminals have gotten brave with the light sentencing of crimes in our society. They don't fear anything

If we’re being accurate, none of them have made any appointments prior to inauguration. They just announce their choices ahead of time.

Laughable that anyone thinks this is even a top 20 issue of things that need fixing in LA. And, hey, I enjoy permitless carry here in TX, but that wasn't why I left LA.

You prove over and over again you don’t truly understand how things work. You are a headline reading, surface level dunce
