Will there be an RFP issued to go dig up all the dust in Iran?
Or is it just a given the new Trump Boring Company will get that contract?
Are you upset Hunter Biden can no longer sell his art?

This whole mojtaba thing seems like the perfect setup for china and russia, they can release some ai videos of the guy talking from supposedly a mile below ground and use his persona as a puppet; while installing anyone they want to have control behind the scenes.
If he is dead, we will probably not find out easily because of the value of having a maybe not so real leader at the moment.

Well, seems we were playing 'Dungeons and Dragons' and have opted for 'Chutes and Ladders'

More likely to be true - Iran has an alive Ayatollah or Talarico has an alive girlfriend?
Tough one. I'll go with the Gayatollah being technically alive in the hospital on life support but not conscious and with little or no brain activity.

Some of this stuff is lazier than just relying on AI for the script.
Show me a single Muslim country where anyone’s posted a critical theological attack and has been heard from since.

4. Removal of mines in Strait
5. Lift US blockade
Other than entering into a vague "negotiations" phase, I'm having a hard time understanding what is truly different from before we started the war.
Thirteen soldiers lives and a huge amount of capital have been spent on this adventure.

Iran has many Ayatollahs who are alive.

We’ve made the situation worse. Poor Iranians.

IMO, one underrated factor here is that, if we are to assume (as Israeli intel reportedly believes is the case) that Khameini Jr. is alive and calling the shots, we're dealing with someone whose father, wife and sister were killed by US/Israeli airstrikes at the start of this war. Aside from Iranians' natural dishonesty, that's probably not an ideal negotiating partner. He'll almost certainly be looking to screw Trump over in the implementation of any deal.

It’s going to be the same old thing where we announce that terms have been agreed to and then shortly thereafter the IRGC says, “we didn’t agree to any of that, pay no attention, they’re not getting the uranium”

See? The crying continues.
I wouldn't call this "crying".
Just because one questions the cost/benefit of this whole exercise, doesn't make me a "panican". Objectively, what have we gained thus far?
Who knows what "deal" will actually be struck, there have been a dozen or more possibilities floated and I'm sure more to come.

His dad got 72 virgins and he moved up. My bet is his feelings towards the US and Trump haven’t changed since the start of this action.

Herein lies the crux of the matter. Our fundamental differences are too vast to overcome - period, try all that one wants to believe otherwise. Ironically, one doesn't have to go halfway around the globe to observe ---- Minnesota and Texas serve as Exhibits A and B.
Do we share much in common? Absolutely, we are fellow human beings but those points of commonalities do not make us the same. Do I have a solution? Not really other than to remain in our hemisphere and mind or business as to do otherwise is a bottomless pit teeming with tar babies

Exactly this. Ask Salmon Rushdie, Charlie Hebdo, and any of the surviving family members of the 30,000 murdered Iranian protestors what happens when Islam or its leaders are criticized.

i am not going to pretend to know what the day to day lives of iranians is like nor would i assume how the handle the death of their family members
That said, i have a feeling that Irans are more well adjusted to hard times than the average american. The economic punishment of the blockaid might not be change their lives all that much as they've been under sanctions for so long
now their government can possibly sell them an out by sticking out this current crisis knowing it is not likely ground troops are ever invading. The longer it drags the better Iran's position is because the average american has no stomach for high gas prices let alone a real war.

A whole bunch of folks...who's names were not seen for hundred pages of this thread...have been on here lately being little bitches about the whole thing.
You'll have to excuse some of us for calling it out.
If you are not one of those folks then ignore it.

Seem to me Americans had a stomach for war but not a stomach for negotiating with terrorist.
