More backup for the contested Reuters report. Seems to be a lot of smoke in this direction.

Is that what you call a country killing 30k+ of their own citizens who rose up in protest?

The mistake may have been not being ready when those protests happened. Could have used the momentum and perhaps the IRGC wouldn't have been capable of carrying it out while preoccupied with us. Now, people are rightfully scared after a mass murder. I have no idea from here what the appetite is in the short term for people to go back on the street.

Not really.

There isn't enough that floats on that island to move 10 million people.

Well both our President and Bibi stated very clearly in the beginning of the war that the Iranian populace was supposed to stay sheltered until given the green light from the US/Israel.

I hope there is a bigger plan in place, and I'll sing the praises if that happens and the IRGC goes down.

I don't see how this ends without further military escalation.

So the only two sticking points are the two most important issues. Got it.

This has very little to do with what may be the general mood of the people who will actually have to do things after getting murdered in the streets.

It's unfortunately the reality. It is why this regime has been in a place a long time due to fear.

In any event, any momentum that those protests may have had were stunted by the massacre. Which was made obvious in the protests ending before the attacks began.

I don't think anyone can say with any certainty if those people will be able to do it again in the short term. Not a particularly controversial take.

Also, I don't know how anyone who isn't in the know to clandestine machinations as a member of the general public could feel confident in uprising at the same time we're negotiating with their leadership, which somewhat presupposes they will be sticking around. Obviously, the Iranian public wouldn't know of any schemes besides the obvious ones we're all seeing.

Buuullllsshhhiiitt.

After 30 days, they will say: We’ve changed our mind. We are not giving it up.

..and we are back to square one in negotiations. These frickers will lie over and over again. Nothing will change unless there is a complete regime change.

Iran desperately needs money and are trying to see if Trump is stupid and will give them money up front before actually complying.

Like Trump said already, it`s garbage.

Iran is use to dealing with stupid American presidents. They are delusional if they think they get over on trump.

If the signed a deal in blood and the promise of their first born son, it still wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on.

I only hope that the delays have a deeper purpose on our part because the rest is indeed pure bullshite.

Bomb everything, everywhere. Sink anything that floats and kill anything moving in a way or an area that remotely perturbed the commanders in theater.
Dont stop till they capitulate.
Thats the only way.

A failed uprising. I'm talking about one that does what we want. The successful part was inferred on my part and should have been put explicitly in what I wrote.
