A lot of people hate spending a single cent on anything that doesnt directly impact them, even if it does impact them from arms length

President Trump: “To the great, proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered. Don’t leave your home. It’s very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be, probably, your only chance for generations. For many years, you have asked for America’s help, but you never got it. No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight. Now you have a president who is giving you what you want, so let’s see how you respond. America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force. Now is the time to seize control of your destiny and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach. This is the moment for action. Do not let it pass.”

President Trump: “To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces and all of the police, I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons, and have complete immunity, or, in the alternative, face certain death. So lay down your arms. You will be treated fairly with total immunity, or you will face certain death.”

"The C.I.A. had been tracking Ayatollah Khamenei for months, gaining more confidence about his locations and his patterns, according to people familiar with the operation. Then the agency learned that a meeting of top Iranian officials would take place on Saturday morning at a leadership compound in the heart of Tehran. Most critically, the C.I.A. learned that the supreme leader would be at the site."

That's how you know you are on the right side of things. Most of the Middle East has modernized over the last decade and they are tired of Iran fricking things up for everybody.
The Abraham Accords paved the way for this along with whatever happened in Vegas that led to MBS doing the purging.

The only mistake the US has made so far is allowing our interceptor stock to get so low. That’s terrifying that we’ve sent so much to Ukraine and Israel, while we ca barely produce any more. We need to 20x that production capacity.

We need to let Elbridge Colby run the supply chain. People highlight our defense spending but we get less bang for buck because its so politicized. You have to make parts in every fricking state to make something instead of centralizing production points which would be much cheaper
Of all the things we spend money on, defense is the only thing thats been in the constitution before and after every amendment thats been passed. Defense is not why we are in debt as a nation.

**Summary of the YouTube clip:**
The video, titled **"NOT IRAQ 2.0: The 118-Year Empire Trump Just Ended"**, is a ~15-16 minute analysis/commentary piece uploaded on February 28, 2026, by the channel **Promethean Updates** (associated with Promethean Action and featuring analyst Barbara Boyd).
**Main argument:**
Boyd contends that the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military strikes against Iran (referred to as **Operation Epic Fury**, announced by President Trump) are being wrongly portrayed by media as "Iraq 2.0" or a full regime-change occupation war. Instead, she frames them as a targeted, limited operation to neutralize Iran's nuclear and missile capabilities, end a 118-year British-centered financial/imperial control over Iran (dating back to the 1908 Anglo-Persian oil concession that birthed BP), and enable regional peace.
**Key points covered:**
- Trump's direct message to Iranians: He reportedly urged them to "take over your government" once the strikes conclude, positioning it as liberation/self-determination rather than U.S.-imposed puppet rule (contrasting with post-2003 Iraq chaos).
- JD Vance's assurance: Explicitly states there's "no chance" of a prolonged, years-long Middle East war.
- Historical context: Iran has functioned as a tool of British financial interests since 1908 (oil rights granted to William Knox D'Arcy), reinforced by the 1953 CIA-British coup against Mossadegh (reinstalling the Shah) and the 1979 Khomeini revolution (portrayed as replacing one controlled regime with another tied to Muslim Brotherhood ideology).
- Trump's broader strategy: Dismantling this system through the Abraham Accords, redirecting trillions in Gulf investments to U.S. infrastructure, the "Board of Peace" (economic development focus), designating the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorists, and rebuilding Gaza — with Iran as the final blocking element via proxies, nuclear pursuit, and threats to the Strait of Hormuz.
- Media critique: Outlets like the New York Times are accused of contradictory coverage (acknowledging Iran's threats while calling Trump reckless).
- Current situation: Escalating retaliatory strikes are happening, but the operation is presented as short, decisive, and aimed at enabling a "border of peace" in the Gulf rather than endless occupation.
**Overall tone and purpose:**
It's a pro-Trump, anti-British-empire-analysis video (a recurring theme in this channel's content), urging viewers to see the strikes as ending long-standing geopolitical manipulation rather than starting another quagmire.

While we have much of our military hanging out in the Middle East, we should properly handle the third-world animals attacking our properties in Pakistan and Iraq. Let everyone who wants to test us get a taste of our military.

I mean anyone who was paying attention the last 2 years knew Iran was being weakened. Israel took out most of their proxies, a bunch of top leaders, and the response has been less than Iraq targeting Israel in 2003.
It's basically perfection by Trump. And like I said before, Trump will be done before Congress even has a clue.
Do nothing Congress
Do what I want Trump

If these high level meeting(s) had anything to do with making a decision about the nuclear talks that’s pretty cold-blooded. Not that I’m against that sort of thing.
Trump did mention they could have made a temporary deal instead and Oman mentioned progress had been made. I think the Iranians were caught off guard because they were led to believe discussions were ongoing.
The idea there was intelligence to suggest Iran would strike first was meant to cover for this if necessary. I’m just surprised Iran didn’t make a bigger stink out of it unless they did and I missed it.

Amen. America's destiny has always been to lead the flock. No more nation building exercises, bring back gun boat diplomacy as POTUS has done.
Whoever is downvoting every pro American post needs to be deported.

It’s all political. They’re praying for high American casualties. If they could wave a magic wand and cure the world of all evils they wouldn’t do it if it means Trump gets any credit.
