If tweet fails to load, click here. I'm a little confused here- why are we having to give reassurances that we're not attacking Iran? We made repeated threats to bomb their power plants, which we only extended based on the notion that negotiations were going on. We've given those negotiations almost a month to work and they've gone nowhere. Iran's demands are more maximalist than ever, in fact. That being the case, why are we not making good on our old promises to attack their power plants instead of suddenly making meek statements that we aren't attacking them?

My guess would be to make sure the clock gets reset for presidential authorization to bomb their arse.
Sidelines the war powers act through congress. Probably not correct terminology but point remains.

I guess, but has the War Powers Act ever had any teeth at all? Courts don't like to get involved in foreign policy/military matters, so any order issued by a liberal judge would get overturned by SCOTUS. Just ignore the War Powers Act or say it was reset by the cease fire so now we have a new 60-day period to work with.

I'd guess Mossad and CIA has already been working on it in the south and Iraq border.

With our air support, they shouldn't have to be very big. Drone defense and offense will need to be included I assume.

Wonder what our response would be if Iran used a "weakened" nuclear weapon against the UAE? or against anyone? I assume that would be a dirty bomb? idk.

Democrats want to run out the clock ( I believe it’s 60 days) so they can force voting for war.
Trump said during the ceasefire he was resetting the clock to zero. Guess the theory is as long as we’re just defensively retaliating the clock stays at zero.
