SUMMARY OF PROPOSED IRGC CONDITIONS FOR OPENING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued new for transit through the Strait of Hormuz, effectively asserting control over maritime traffic.
Only non-“belligerent” commercial vessels may pass, ships must use IRGC approved routes through its territorial waters, and all transit must be coordinated with Iranian forces.
This signals Tehran is attempting to leverage the strait to pressure the U.S. for concessions.
The IRGC also blasted FM Abbas Araghchi after he claimed the strait is “completely open,” exposing internal regime divisions.
Meanwhile, U.S. enforcement is holding: 19 vessels turned back, none breached the blockade. Non-Iranian ships continue to transit freely.

NEU — Iranian regime parliamentarian Morteza Mahmoudi stated that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi faces the prospect of dismissal due to his statements on social media, as he accuses him of having made repeated "inappropriately timed" remarks during a sensitive wartime period.

A lot of things are being said about Iran these days. That they have agreed to this and they have agreed to that. It all sounds good on paper, but we gotta remember, these are apocalyptic jihadists you're dealing with in the form of the IRGC.
A lot of things you're hearing are being said for very different reasons than what you'd naturally think. So take nothing at face value and trust the plan.
Also: the audience for President Trump's message that Israel is prohibited from bombing Lebanon is the Lebanese audience, not the Israeli audience. And I do not think for a second that Trump's statement was a surprise for Bibi. Israel is currently holding large parts of the Lebanese territory and unless a deal or a basic understanding secured by guarantors is reached, the IDF won't pull out.
So, again, like I said, I'd advise my friends in the U.S. and Israel to keep calm and trust the plan.

Shoot, I’d go. But then I cruise with Carnival out of Galveston for a New Years celebration every year. So it should be obvious I enjoy chaotic vacations.

The scathing attack on the foreign minister on state TV shows deep-seated division inside the Islamic Republic.
Here, “filmmaker” Hossein Pak relentlessly attacks Abbas Araghchi on state TV, arguing that the diplomatic team must represent not just Iran, but the entire “Axis of Resistance,” from Lebanon to Yemen.
He says they have ten clear demands in negotiations with Trump and the United States that are non-negotiable, and accuses the team of lacking confidence and failing to stand their ground.
In a separate segment, he claims Araghchi is acting independently and that his views do not align with the regime’s core principles and policies, dismissing them as personal opinions.
He suggests this reflects a parallel agenda that is not aligned with the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
He also labels him a “JCPOA diplomat” and criticizes him as part of a failed group with the same weak mindset that previously put the regime in a difficult position.

Trump: Netanyahu and I disagree on some points but remain strong partners. Iran negotiations continue this weekend. If no agreement is reached, we will resume bombing.
Trump on Iran: News is positive; negotiations are progressing. Unless a deal is reached by Wednesday, the ceasefire will not be extended, but the US blockade of Iranian ports will continue.
Trump on Iran's enriched uranium: We will seize 100% of it and bring it to the U.S. If we fail, we will obtain it in a more hostile manner, but we will get it regardless.

TRUMP TOLD @NewsNation HE WOULDN'T CALL IT BOOTS ON THE GROUND IF IT IS AFTER THE AGREEMENT IS SIGNED TO GET IRAN'S "NUCLEAR DUST"
NewsNation asked if U.S. boots on the ground would be needed to get all of Iran's "nuclear dust" as he said the U.S. is going in with Iran and "taking it."
He said he wouldn't call it boots on the ground because "we'll take it after the agreement is signed," he told me.
He said, "there's a big difference, before and after. B.C. It's before and after."
He adds: "We would have taken it if we didn't have an agreement, we would take it. But I don't think we'll have to."

AIR FORCE ONE — I asked President Trump if Cuba is next, Trump pauses and then tells me that it “depends on what your definition of military action is.”
Asked if it could look like Venezuela or Iran, he says “really it does, it depends on what your definition of military action is, as Bill Clinton would say.”

When I spoke to President Trump on the phone this morning and he told me “everything was agreed to” with Iran.
Tonight when I said Iran was saying something different today, he told me, “they gotta say something different because they have people that they have to cater to also. I really don’t, I just doing the thing that’s right, I’m just saying it like it

The issue is that the IRGC is in control and fragmented, so different parts of the power structure want to deal and different parts want continued war as in line with their religious eschatological beliefs.
So those who he is dealing with, who are corrupt and want the regime to survive. It's very believable that he made a deal with them and they accepted surrender as it's an obvious battlefield outcome with the conditions only going to get worse for them.
The hardliners will not like this as it's a violation of their religious beliefs and more importantly they have been told they are winning. It's the downside of propaganda, when the facade shatters people get very upset at being lied to.
I don't think Trump is coming out lying to everyone, that's not how he works. The question is can the people who hes negotiating with convince/overpower those who disagree. That we are still to find out. Which is why I think we see on the ground practical disagreements like what's going on in Hormuz as of right now.
Which means we may have a situation where part of the regime makes a deal and part of it reject it and it causes utter chaos. Which is what I think they're preparing for now.

Japan had hardliners that wanted to continue the war and fight to the death even after the USA dropped 2 atomic bombs on their cities.

It looks like the IRGC has closed the strait once again.
