Pakistan is calling for a 45-day extension of the temporary US-Iran ceasefire, according to Dawn, as cited by PANews.

A Pakistani diplomatic source said Islamabad been in contact with multiple parties since the collapse of weekend talks, seeking consensus on extending the truce or resuming technical-level contacts between Washington and Tehran.

The source added that intermediaries are helping facilitate exchanges between the two sides on outstanding issues, in an effort to secure at least a 45-day extension and pave the way for further negotiations.

Iran has been working to remove debris blocking entrances to its underground missile bases during the ceasefire, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing satellite imagery.

The images show heavy machinery clearing tunnel entrances that were previously targeted in strikes by the United States and Israel to disrupt missile operations.

US intelligence previously assessed that roughly half of Iran’s missile launchers remained intact after a month of fighting, CNN reported, adding that some may have been buried following strikes on tunnel entrances.

Experts cited by CNN said the activity reflects the design of Iran’s underground “missile cities,” built to survive attacks and allow forces to re-emerge and resume operations.

Just think of how much money would be wasted if we oblige the 45 day extension. Refueling. Keeping the SOH essentially closed.

With that said, I also understand tempering our aggression as the waiting game could in fact bare fruit.

We’ll see.

They always have to put the cost of something when the US loses an asset. Never seen media do that before this conflict.

Do we have any unfinished bombing to do?

Seems Trump must think we have bombed enough if he was willing to cease fire and negotiate.

Interesting to note:

The United States was producing 13.58 million barrels per day in 2025, about 16% of global crude supply. It was exporting roughly 4 million barrels per day of crude.

Iran shuts the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. April exports jumped to 4.9 million barrels per day, and May is tracking 5.2 million, an all time record. 28 supertankers are booked for May. Normally it is around 5.

Asian buyers that once depended on Hormuz are now turning to U.S. supply.

In some strange way, the Strait of Hormuz being blocked is actually the biggest payday U.S. oil has ever had.

U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers are among the assets executing a blockade mission impacting Iranian ports. The blockade is being enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or leaving coastal areas or ports in Iran. A typical destroyer has a crew of more than 300 Sailors that are highly trained in conducting offensive and defensive maritime operations.

Just looking at the side profile of that Raider it's incredible it can even take flight, let alone do what it's supposedly capable of

It looks like a UFO straight out of a movie or comic
