Arm the uprising with suicide drones and all of the guns they could wish for as soon as possible and the IRGC will go into hiding or die.

Something funny I noticed a bit ago.

I personally never knew the difference between DD and DDG (traditional missile destroyer vs guided missile destroyer) so decided to see what the difference actually was and came across the Navy’s page.

Decatur DDG 31 - class
LINK
(converted Forrest Sherman - class destroyers)

Ship's Name Hull Number Homeport / Status
DECATUR DDG 31 decommissioned, sunk as target
JOHN PAUL JONES DDG 32 decommissioned, sunk as target
PARSONS DDG 33 decommissioned, sunk as target
SOMERS DDG 34 decommissioned, sunk as target

Rexcatur having a rough go of it

France’s exclusion from the Washington Israeli-Lebanese talks should have been a diplomatic scandal, a historic ally locked out of the most significant Lebanon negotiation in thirty years. But Beirut didn’t protest, didn’t lobby for French inclusion, and didn’t even notice. That silence is the real verdict.

France spent decades posturing as Lebanon’s guardian, hosting summits, drafting frameworks, and performing concern from the chandeliered rooms of the Élysée, while Hezbollah’s arsenal swelled from fifteen thousand rockets to two hundred thousand under the watch of French UNIFIL troops who enforced nothing.

Macron proposed Paris as the venue for these very talks, drafted a recognition plan, and personally called Aoun, Salam, and Berri, and previously Mikati, to choreograph a French-led diplomatic triumph.

Today, Lebanon and Israel are sitting across from each other at the State Department in Washington, brokered by Marco Rubio and mediated by the American Ambassador to Beirut, Michel Issa, who is of Lebanese origin and remains a Lebanese.

France was not just sidelined, it was rendered irrelevant by its own record of performing diplomacy without producing a single enforceable outcome. The bridge Macron wanted to claim credit for was built by others, and the cruelest part isn’t that France was excluded, it’s that nobody in Beirut objected.

Whoa that's crazy. Imagine being a Basij soldier at a checkpoint. You're literally a sitting duck. Hopefully this leads to more defections.

Kind of shows how much damage we and Israel did. They are spread thin enough that a couple of masked guys were able to get up and close with him and give him the Caesar treatment.

Iran Threatens Red Sea Disruption, Warns Of Ceasefire Violation

A spokesperson for Iran’s military warned that Tehran could move to disrupt shipping in the Red Sea if the US continues enforcing its blockade on Iranian vessels.

The statement adds that continued US maritime actions targeting Iranian shipping would be considered a violation of the ceasefire.

After two hours, the talks between Israel and Lebanon in the United States concluded.

Israel’s Ambassador to the United States:

We agreed with the Lebanese side that Lebanon must be freed from Iranian occupying forces — namely Hezbollah.

We made it clear to the Lebanese side that the security of Israeli civilians is not up for negotiation.

We have no need for French involvement in the negotiations with Lebanon.

We will continue negotiations with Lebanon in the coming weeks.

The Iranian Armed Forces will not allow any exports and imports to continue in the Persian Gulf, the Sea of ??Oman, and the Red Sea if the American blockade continues.

If the U.S. continues with its naval blockade, this will be considered a violation of the ceasefire, and Iran will act with force to defend its national sovereignty and interests.

US Vice President JD Vance says if Iran commits to not have a nuclear weapon, 'we are going to make Iran economically thrive'.

I really like JD Vance, but who is “we”. If “we” is the US Government, how does this happen considering “we” are broke.

I fear that by “we” he means the US taxpayer who is the “we” being drained of earnings to feed the Ukraine War at the moment and will be the “we” that is drained to rebuild the Iran economy.

Iraq has sent another convoy of militias into Iran under the cover of humanitarian aid

This is not mercy or aid, but a Trojan horse.

In addition to regular militia-linked convoys making free and unhindered cross-border trips, the regime is now smuggling in thousands of Hashd al-Shaabi fighters disguised as medical teams.

These Iranian-backed Shia militias, known as the PMF, are the same forces who played a role in brutal crackdowns on Iranian protesters that killed over 45,000.

With no meaningful border control or vetting, the Islamic Republic has deliberately allowed them in and is counting on them as another uprising begins to take shape.

In the Islamic Republic, ambulances have been used to transport security forces and detain protesters, while hospitals have been stormed to target the wounded.

The regime is preparing for a violent crackdown on its own people.

The world must wake up and support the Iranian people before it is too late.

I think he means we will lift sanctions and unfreeze bank accounts.
No way in hell does the U.S. start writing checks.
