I'm interested to see if the IRGC officials return to Iran soon and if Israel targets their planes. Pakistani escorts or not, they will not see that F-35's have launched missiles until those big birds start falling out of the sky in between the escorts.

Talks led by JD Vance were initially positive but experienced “mood swings,” a Pakistani official briefed on the negotiations tells The Washington Post.
The way this is written make it seem like this could be about a couple who go on an outing with the lady getting more and more annoyed as the evening goes on.

A bit crude here so forgive but, getting laid was on the menu but only a handjob was offered. Cock teasing bastards.
Fire the jets up!!

I'd be annoyed as well if I had to hang out in Pakistan for over 21 hours

Do we still abide by the 2 week ceasefire to see if the negotiatiors return home and change their minds, and/or are killed by the hardliners that disagree with them negotiating? Maybe give time for a civilian uprising to take them out and breakout across the country?
Or do we just say "frick em, we tried" and go gangbusters immediately?

We send ships into o the strait to see what they do. If they attack, the war is back on.

Trump will probably give them a deadline to accept the deal, and if they don’t accept he’ll go scorched earth.

Iran has 91M people. What’s real worst case scenario?

For who?
For citizens, the current regime pisses every nation off and they no longer target military assets. Just wipe em all out.

The negotiations in Islamabad were never meant to succeed, they were meant to prove that they couldn’t.
From the start, intelligence from the CIA and Mossad showed the divide with the Islamic Republic of Iran was not negotiable.
This was not a gap to close, but a clash of fundamentals tied to the regime’s survival.
The 21-hour talks only confirmed it. Long sessions, shifting positions, and no movement on core issues. The gap became clearer, not smaller.
Sending JD Vance was part of the strategy. As someone skeptical of war, sitting across the table and seeing it firsthand removes the argument that better diplomacy could have worked.
He said it plainly afterward. There were real discussions, but no agreement, and that is worse for Iran than for the United States.
This was not a failed negotiation. It was confirmation that no real deal was ever possible.

The Strait of Hormuz and the preservation of enriched uranium are considered field achievements, and they will not be offered to the United States on the table of diplomacy.

Oh well. We gave them every opportunity to save themselves. At this point, frick em.
The black and white thinking around here is ridiculous. Dumb even. We started bombing them first. A drawn out war in the Middle East is fricking stupid, especially at the behest of Israel. Ever heard of sunk cost fallacy?
Yeah it’s going to get worse for Iran, and I have no doubt more of their crazy leadership gets popped, but they will attack more soldiers stationed in the ME, and we’re open to all kinds of asymmetric attacks on our homeland and global presence. Think attacks to our power infrastructure, banking systems and China will be aiding them all along.
We need to figure out a reasonable exit ramp soon.

Thats your whole take on this? Bet your family is proud of your understanding on this matter. How short sighted can one be?
The short sightedness of so called MAGA people thinking that Trump hasn’t calculated every possibility.
I’d be embarrassed to criticize trying to take down the biggest terror regime in human history on account of paying 50% more at the gas pump. I try to imagine my great grandparents complaining.
