Our carrier groups near Iran. They need a constant resupply of jet fuel and munitions.
They get them from oilers and ammo ships.
Oilers and ammo ships have no defensive weaponsz
Iran hasn’t even been able to hit one, much less sink any.
So how exactly could they possibly sink a battleship?
Just stop with this nonsense.

Me too.
But I don’t think they would have a problem bringing them through the Strait.

Secretary Rubio stated this evening on Hannity that Iran has refused to hand over its stockpile of uranium
Is Rubio saying the uranium is NOT buried under a mountain of rubble?

Let's unpack this..
What if the White House has no intention of reopening the Strait of Hormuz?
What if this war is really about ships & tariffs?
I had a long discussion with senior DOE official yesterday on background. I can’t share any details but it’s clear everyone’s Strait of Hormuz calculus is wrong.
We need to go back to the drawing boards.
That's it. That's the tweet. Now a hypothetical with my personal thoughts.
This is some interesting stuff.
Could it be that we've made a deal with Iran that allows them to set up their toll booths? That would be a big "frick you!" from Trump to the Europeans.

If tweet fails to load, click here. No shite Lord Sherlock. You don’t even have enough escorts to protect one carrier and definitely not two. Hell the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force only have 30 F35s combined. Each one of the Queen Elizabeth class carriers is supposed to carry 36 F35s in war time.

There is more to the Strait of Hormuz than crude oil and LNG transit. There is also the economies o Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia to consider.

BREAKING: Nonstop heavy airstrikes are pounding Iran’s southern coastline, with multiple targets hit in and around Bandar Abbas, a key strategic port near the Strait of Hormuz.
Could this be the answer as to where the MEU is headed?

So the country/countries they would have to pass through have no say so?
I think invading another country to support Iran would have some international consequences?
