IMHO, it is now high time for The Quiet Professionals to get to work in Iran with some most excellent Unconventional Warfare.

In the video briefing, U.S. Navy Adm. Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Central Command, delivers an update on **Operation Epic Fury**, which began on February 28, 2026, at the direction of the President. He states that the core mission is to eliminate Iran's ability to project meaningful power beyond its borders by destroying its offensive missile capabilities, missile production facilities, naval forces, and other security infrastructure that pose imminent threats, including to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Cooper emphasizes the operation's focus on precision strikes to neutralize these dangers while highlighting the involvement of over 50,000 American service members executing the campaign with unmatched reach and lethality.
Adm. Cooper details significant military achievements on day 22 of operations, noting that U.S. and partner forces have conducted over 8,000 combat flights, achieving air superiority over Iran. Key accomplishments include the destruction of thousands of Iranian missiles and advanced drones, the near-total elimination of Iran's navy (with more than 130 vessels struck, described as the largest such naval neutralization since World War II), and the neutralization of tactical fighters and high-volume missile/drone launch capabilities. He cites specific examples, such as a record-length U.S. Army precision artillery strike and the bombing of an underground coastal facility using multiple 5,000-pound bombs to eliminate anti-ship cruise missiles, mobile launchers, and related intelligence sites threatening international shipping.
The commander reports that Iran's combat capabilities are in steady decline as U.S. offensive operations intensify, with an extensive integrated air and missile defense network—supported by Gulf partners—successfully intercepting thousands of Iranian drone and missile attacks. Cooper praises the professionalism and resolve of U.S. warfighters, stresses the need to maintain relentless momentum without pause, and expresses pride in the team's performance while underscoring the importance of partnership and steady execution to complete the remaining objectives.

BREAKING: Russia is close to completing a phased shipment of drones, medicine, and food to Iran, per FT.
Details include:
1. Russia and Iran reportedly began secretly discussing delivering drones days after Israel and the US attacked Tehran
2. Russia has been providing Iran with "crucial support" including satellite imagery, targeting data, and intelligence
3. Advanced Russian weaponry could improve the effectiveness of Iranian drone strikes
4. Russia has declined Iranian requests for the S-400, one of Moscow’s most advanced air defense systems
Russia's support for Iran remains strong.

Everybody except Steve Witkoff could’ve seen that one coming…

Better video of a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet being targeted by the Iranians with a surface-to-air missile, perhaps fired from MANPADS, over the city of Chabahar in southern Iran on Wednesday.
The missile didn't immediately appear to cause any significant damage to the aircraft.

I place my trust in President Trump and firmly believe there will be no deal between the United States and the Islamist regime in Iran.
However, let there be no mistake: after promising the Iranian people that help would be on the way, signing a deal with murderers who killed 40,000 Iranians in a span of just two days, and who are currently planning to execute thousands more who remain in prison, with no mention of human rights and the fate of 100,000 imprisoned protestors would be a profound betrayal.
Such an action would not only be a moral failure but a strategic disaster. It would miss the opportunity to topple a longtime enemy of America and would turn the most pro-U.S. population in the Muslim world against the United States for decades to come. It will be an enormous mistake, much bigger than what Carter did.

The people of Iran are the deciding factor. You can’t force a leader on a nation, a nation chooses its leader.
We, Israel, the United States, and the entire world for that matter have paid an extremely high price because of this Satanic regime. There can’t be any other outcome than the total elimination of the regime and everything that has something to do with it.
It is time for a new age without evil.

The Iranian’s are big time bluffing right now about their remaining military power. My fear is we will only find out at a much later date just how weak they are right now and see the missed opportunity. Time is on their side though.

We've told them to stay put.
THEY HAVE NO WEAPONS. They are TOTALLY disarmed. See what happened in January? See what happened on October 7 to the Israelis who had no weapons?
Why we are not smuggling rifles to them is beyond me.
Find the right gamers and give them suicide drones. The IRGC and associated thugs wouldn't know where or who it came from. That alone could break them since the drone operators would know exactly who they are looking for and where they are.

I think Trump is making a mistake sending differing messages. He told them at the beginning to stay put and we would let them know when... Now Trump is saying a move by the people will be a massacre.
Worth remembering, we don't know what he's told anyone. We don't know if that "axios report" is accurate. The differing messages is not a mistake. Telling us what he really plans to do, and when, would be the mistake. If and when they need to make a public statement to the people of Iran, they'll probably do it directly, not through media intermediaries.

Before you know it Trump’s going to send in ground troops. I still support the war. It needed to be done sooner than later and not kick the can down the road. Wish we had done this with the USSR before they developed nukes and spread them to China. But it’s all very hard to watch with the sacrificial economic pressure. Living in between the pandemic and now this is brutal with inflation. I feel so poor despite having a good salary on paper.
So how do you feel about the paratroopers and marine landings now, dumbass.
In hindsight, I was still wrong. Trump’s just looking to cut a deal and punt the issue to the next generation. Goes to show that protests don’t mean much if your population isn’t armed.

Agreed. We should finish the job. For the ‘worried about the midterms crowd’, it’s March. If you keep the pressure on for a few more weeks/months it’s still pretty far out from the elections.

Hadn't sensed that just yet. What I am wondering is 'what's next' and might be the pause that I am sensing.
Believe what Israel does or does not do going forward is a pretty good barometer of what we are considering
