Even major accounts like Tim Pool on YouTube are starting to drift into retardation over this. Just skimmed a video waiting for my next class to come in and he’s talking about how Pete Hegseth CONFIRMS he will be seeking 200 billion for replenishing stockpiles. And tim is freaking out like this is some scandal.
Uhhh not shite we are going to buy more missiles. Have you not seen the like 8000 we just shot into Iran?
Is it just me or is this war making people go fricking nuts

My remarks were regarding the tweet, not your comments about the market. Just saying that Reuters may be giving us the "worst case scenario" of that one strike.

If it’s this bad now when we have had what 10 total KIA maybe a few more and this is how people are acting wait until the marines have to go clear the browns out of all these tiny little islands along the straight and in the Persian gulf which is where they’re dug in targeting tankers.
It’s not going to be easy fighting.

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests.
After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite.
Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial.
Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal.
I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices.
This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

Israeli strikes hit Bandar Anzal and the Caspian Sea overnight, destroying several Iranian Navy vessels and naval infrastructure, the IDF says.
Targets included a corvette, four missile boats, auxiliary ships, guard boats, a command center, and a shipyard. Some were docked, others at sea.
The military says the missile boats, though not an immediate threat from the Caspian, possess anti-aircraft and anti-submarine capabilities that could endanger Israeli aircraft over Iran.
The strike was planned days in advance using Naval and Military Intelligence and marks the first IDF operation in this region of Iran during the current conflict.

Probably true, but it was also going to be messy getting Maduro. With lots of planning and a bunch of discomboulators, it may be easier than we think.

And this is the epitome of why this about more than oil, or geopolitics, etc
It is a righteous cause that is worth fighting. It weighs heavily on me morally we have all we need to free these millions and millions and millions of people, and could end up not having the guts to see it through.
I hope that’s not the case. Sometimes you have to do the right thing, even if it means you pay a cost, in this case a political one

LNG plant baws in Lake Charles are going to be working a lot of overtime to keep up with the surge in demand. That means that strippers are going to be doing well. Regardless of how long it takes for Qatar to get back on line.
after WWII the US economy sored because the rest of the world was in a state of destruction post war. the US energy sector should be in a great place for gaining market share and exploiting the higher world prices. and we would get what we needed first and sell off the rest, so shortages shouldn't impact us either

Big wars are almost never fought over altruism. It may be a secondary influence but not the main goal.

I wasn’t suggesting we were doing it out of altruism. I’m positive we have multiple things that are more important to our government than the Iranians
My point I was trying to get across is now that you’ve brought it this far, I think it would be a moral failure to end it without ensuring their freedom in someway

It means they do not want to commit militarily, but still want dibs on the oil.

We can't change the mission or directive.
The Iranians are going to have to fight for their own freedom.
I hope we provide air support to assist in their own ground efforts.
But it is going to have to be their sacrifice to push through to the finish line.
Has anyone heard anything about the Artesh in the last 3 weeks?
Have they been disbanded (for fear that centralization could lead to a coup?)

I understand your point. My point is that I don't believe the primary goal was to completely deliver the Iranian people their freedom. I could be wrong. They did say that this would require the people to rise up and finish the job at some point, and I believe that was an honest statement.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear by what I mean when I said ensuring their freedom in some way.
Basically I want them to be armed by us I have to assume at this point there is an organized resistance, and the regime weakened enough to where they can stand a chance to actually fight and win.
I like you would also like to see us provide them combat aircraft support probably through drones like the reaper and ISR.
