Remember in 2011 when the UK and France intervened in Libya and ran out of ammunition and bombs in 2 weeks which made us step in to save them?
Man that was a crazy thing.

Israel did some work last night on the few jackasses in leadership who were still alive. The world now has a few less Muslims.

Nice.
Once the MEU gets there this entire thing with the straight should be taken care of in a few weeks. Instead of using marine launch ships it puts marines on the ground with helos and drop ships which Iran didnt plan for and didnt defend for allowing them to do hit and run attacks and it also will get way closer to the hot zone than the air craft carriers will because the entire risk calculus changes in terms of money lost if one of them is hit.
Then the 20 fast attack jets it also has should be able fully complete the gap that the sorties from the aircraft carrier are currently leaving since theyre so far away they cant stay on station but for so long before going back and refueling. Combine all of this together and you should be able to create a sort of 24/7 dome of protection with airpower on station at all times and marines to target those coastal areas theyre dug into.
Then theyll clear the mines and bobs your uncle. Irans entire defense was assuming we couldnt ever put people on the ground and wouldnt get our expensive navy close enough to allow our aircraft to be up 24/7 and then fire in those gaps.
This should change that

From Al Jazeera:

Israel has claimed two high profile assassinations of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, according to Israel’s Defence Minister Katz, and the commander of the internal Basij militia, Gholamreza Soleimani, neither of which Iran has commented on or confirmed
Iranian state media published a handwritten note by Larijani, it is not clear whether it is intended as proof of life. Larijani’s note published on his social media outlets commemorates the memory of Iranian sailors killed, whose funeral is expected to be held on Tuesday, in the US attack on their boat in international waters.
If confirmed, Larijani would be the highest level assassination in the war since United States-Israeli strikes killed the former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and several members of his family on the first day of the war they launched on February 28.
Larijani was last seen publicly on Friday, attending the al-Quds day rally in support of Palestinians in Tehran, along with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Larijani has been a political figure in the Iranian hierarchy for years, at one time leading the nation’s nuclear negotiations with the West. He was also previously the Iranian Speaker of the Parliament.
The Israeli military also claimed in a post on X Tuesday that it had killed Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of the Basij unit, the internal security paramilitary militia of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
“Guided by precise intelligence from Military Intelligence, the Air Force conducted a targeted strike yesterday in the heart of Tehran, eliminating Gholam Reza Soleimani, commander of the Basij unit over the past six years,” it said.

That would be excellent news.
There were some bunker busters dropped in Tehran recently. I would guess one of those did the job. Hope there were a few other high level guys with them.
At some point people with no experience and no skills are going to be tasked with leadership.

If the Israelis say they killed someone, they killed them. There is no nation on the planet that gives less fricks about being cordial with international relations
We need them to push further east. They’ve been bombing the frick out of western Iran (which poses the most threat to them), but it’s time for them to repay us by sending their lads to hit our targets in the south and east

Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and the regime’s effective leader, has been eliminated.
Throughout the years, Larijani was considered one of the most veteran and senior figures within the Iranian regime leadership, and was a close associate of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
During the most recent wave of protests against the Iranian terror regime, Larijani personally oversaw the massacre that was carried out against Iranian protestors.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Hell yeah. Now the only leaders left are the impotent homosexual Ayatollah and their figure head of a president.

It seems like the regime's Minister of Information may have been killed in an airstrike. The propaganda is starting to look like angry monkeys flinging shite in every direction. They have no plan.

There are a few of you responding to every troll and people are getting the idea that all of you are part of the his group or are so childish as to have no impulse control, and he laughs at every one of you for being just as stupid as he thought you were.
At this point the Mods would have to clean up more of your bullshite than his.

Around 300 Basij commanders and field officials were killed in a wave of overnight strikes on key command and operational centers of Iran’s Basij forces, Iran International has learned.
The strikes appeared to hit the logistics and command structure of a force long used to suppress dissent and confront anti-government protests.
In one of the most critical attacks, a Basij support unit’s repair and maintenance center was hit. The site housed hundreds of vehicles and motorcycles used in street operations and neighborhood patrols. Initial reports said the fleet was destroyed.
Facilities linked to the Mohammad Rasoulollah Corps, the IRGC unit responsible for the greater Tehran area, were struck.
The Imam Hadi security unit, a strategic command center in Tehran, was also heavily damaged.
The Imam Ali security battalions, which have played a central role in cracking down on protests, also suffered heavy personnel and equipment losses.

I find it no coincidence that a group of Iranians announced themselves an army with a name and heavily armed just yesterday

I wonder if they know how to call in close air support. Anyone know if putting pig grease on the A10s main gun would cause problems?

That is a big number.
If true, that should ensure a lot more chaos.

Exactly. You drop enough on their local headquarters, the vast majority quietly just walk away. Its farcical to think they are all these "radicals". Sure there are some, most are just there for the power they have over the local people, once their own lives are at risk it changes the dynamic.
These leaders pretending to be radical haters of the west....while their kids tool around Tehran in Porsche Targas
