Phase 2 of Operation Epic Fury: the underground war
Iran hid its ballistic missiles in tunnels carved deep into mountain rock, shielded by hundreds of feet of reinforced concrete.
Standard bombs won't even scratch it.
So four B-2 stealth bombers flew 6,000 miles from Missouri, slipped through Iranian airspace undetected, and dropped dozens of bunker busters that penetrate concrete, then detonate from the inside out.
Cost per bomb: $4,000.
Cost of what it destroyed: billions.

If Russia is helping Iran are they overplaying their hand.
Does Trump then give Ukraine things that break the deadlock?

Agreed but boots on the ground will be a big problem on multiple levels.
Financially, logistically I suppose they are on the ready as there are bases nearby but most only had 1K troops I believe. I don’t know too much about the bases in the region truth be told.
If Trump doesn’t care about optics, I’d be happy.

The Prime Minister’s weakness is embarrassing. If there is one thing your average Brit cannot stand, it’s embarrassment.
I think his days as PM grow short.
I thought the one thing was pork. Muslims can’t stand pork.

I think we ultimately send in special ops, airborne and rangers on raids. Search and destroy type missions. High intensity and short duration
Iran will not be able to mount a large response and if they try it will turn into the highway of death. But there will be high intensity fights with troops supporting nuclear sites, missile depots, high value targets etc.
I don’t think we go door to door like Fallujah or trek across the country with armor to Tehran like we did in Iraq.

If Russia gives Iran targeting information that gets one American service member injured then a train of tomahawk missiles need to be delivered to Ukraine ASAP.

This might be one of the most insightful exchanges yet into President Trump’s internal thinking on Iran:
Said he's prepared for this taking as long as he needed to achieve what other presidents didn't have the wherewithall to do, and this is KEY:
"I don't want to just come back every 10 years. And mostly you'll have presidents, mostly, that won't do that because They don't get it."
"But we don't want to come back every 5 years or every 10 years and do this. So we want to pick a president that's not going to be leading their country into war."

My friend's message from Tehran tonight:
"Bro, I only know one thing
The US and Israel have hit over 3000 targets and they (mullahs) aren't finished yet.
We could have never taken them on with empty-handed.
How many of us would have had to die to just take over one of their bases? It would be impossible.
I'm personally willing to become a casualty of this war, but for these bombardments to continue for as long as needed for this cancer tumor to be removed from Iran.
We thank Trump and Netanyahu and the people of the US and Israel and we will compensate for their kindness when Iran is freed
Please continue, for humanity, for freedom, for light, for more peace and security around the world.
For a better world"
