I couldn't decide if he was saying the bomb was launched at people opposed to the war or opposed to the regime.

Who controls the regular army?
According to wikipedia the commander in chief of the army is appointed by the commander of the general staff who is appointed by the supreme leader. Since there is no supreme leader at the moment they are a wild card. Also according to wikipedia the president of Iran has no control over either the army or the IRGC.

People are protesting against Islamic invasion of our country and someone yelled Allahu Akbar and threw "a potential BOMB" at them.

Don’t be misled by the spectacle of fires burning in Tehran. These are not strikes on the Iranian people. These fires are not destroying ordinary commercial facilities.
Israel targeted oil depots under the control of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. For years the IRGC has used state oil assets as its private revenue stream. Instead of operating through a normal government budget, it was granted control over oil resources and the income they generate.
Those funds have financed the regime’s regional war machine—paying for proxy militias, purchasing weapons and equipment from China, and underwriting destabilization from Lebanon to Yemen.
Because these depots are controlled and guarded by security forces, they are part of the IRGC’s military logistics network. That makes them legitimate and necessary targets for anyone seeking to degrade the regime’s capacity to wage war.
The distinction is important. The strikes were directed at assets controlled by the Guard, not at the energy infrastructure that serves ordinary Iranians. The resources of Iran should belong to the Iranian people. For decades, the IRGC has treated them as its war chest.

Two Arrested After Bomb Devices Thrown at Activist Jake Lang in NYC ??
NYPD Jessica Tisch briefed the press after two suspects were arrested in connection with explosive devices thrown at activist Jake Lang during a protest in New York City.
Police identified the suspects as Abraham Nick and Amir Balat, both 18 years old and described as being of Arab descent. Authorities say Amir Balat allegedly yelled “Allahu Akbar” before throwing a device packed with nuts, bolts, and other shrapnel toward Lang.
Investigators recovered two explosive devices at the scene. Fortunately, the bombs did not detonate properly, preventing what could have been a far more serious incident.
The NYPD Bomb Squad responded and safely secured the devices. Both suspects are now in custody as the investigation continues

Now with the Iraqi Kurds being sidelined, how will this work exactly if we somehow arm the populace?
Normal everyday citizens don’t have the capability to command an army of freedom fighters. They’re going to have to figure it out soon because we laid the groundwork for them to move on this grand opportunity.
