I will get downvoted, but I think Iran needs to be nuked. They are bad for the world. Addition by subtraction. And give them warning: if strait remains closed (a worldwide penalty), you may be subjected to nuclear warfare. “Evacuate Tehran: nuclear warfare is imminent in 48-72 hrs,” for example. Hard decisions have to be made. After Tehran, then Bandar ‘Abbas will be told to evacuate if a deal isn’t made..And so on. At that point, it’s the IRGC to blame for not unconditionally surrendering. They are at our mercy, and the USA needs to triumph this war. Sorry not sorry. I’m not a Mark Levin type, but I know hard decisions are not going to make sense at the time. It’s for my children, and peace through strength to have world peace. Iran is a big problem

If it’s the only way to wipe out the regime, I am down for it and tired of playing games. We have tried diplomacy.
We need to get this over with. The world will thank us when the strait of Hormuz is not held hostage.
And I’d say if Trump is killed, same threat as North Korea to the world: if our leader is assassinated by a responsible party from another country, they will face the wrath of nuclear warfare. Make it very clear BEFORE. The consequences are very clear.
As a physician, I make hard decisions every day for my patients. There isn’t always a right answer. But at some point, I think this is reasonable. It’s hard. I’m looking beyond the optics and trolls and the end goal for the entire world.
Iran is done for if it were up to me, but they would have one more chance to come to the table, but the consequences to another missile at a ship from them is nuclear warfare

Nothing needs to be said. If any nation on earth regardless of who they are, or allied with assassinated the sitting president they would face the full forse of the united states military until they have been completley dismantled in every way.

I don’t agree with physically nuking them. It’s the IRGC that is running this. They are the mafia and they love money. Maybe nuke them with money restrictions to where they cannot get a penny out of their accounts. Strip their kids of every dime and do not let them life in Western countries. The IRGC needs to pay, not the people of Iran.

My partial solution would be to begin isolating parts of the country and makeing travel close to impossible for the military. Bomb the bridges, and then stop any work arounds. Most of the bridges I've seen look like they are over dry dirt (intermentent streams) and appears they could easily bullcoze dirt roads through. And probably isolate whatever key mountain hide out they use, but isolate it. Bomb every structure within a certain range, put troops on the ground (temporary) and destroy it all with everything short of nucs. Obvviously, we would need to destroy all the artillery within reach, and have all air assets overhead.
Either that, or take Kharge (sp) island, take it or destroy it, idc.
It would take a lot of planning of course, and I don't have time for it, I gotta paint the bathroom this weekend.

That's one of the dumbest things said on this board. Every civilized country has acknowledged that Iran has been waging a terrorist war for decades. Iran has militia in countries all over the middle east, like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza strip, Yemen. In 2007, Hamas violently took control of the Gaza strip, from where they wage war against Israel. Hezbollah has set up its own military inside of Lebanon and launches attacks against the US and Israel. They have made great progress toward overthrowing the govt of Iraq. Hezbollah, the IRCG and the Qds force run terrorist gangs and drug operations in South America. They've been training militia in Venezuela for 20 years under both Chavez and Maduro regimes. They had begun supplying missiles and military equipment to Maduro until Trump said "No mas".
Iran started this war a long time ago. We waited way too long to respond.
