Israel is now in a tough spot; They know if they respond after being attacked, Trump is going to accuse them of trying to "derail" the deal and ignore the fact they are constantly being attacked by the IRGC's proxy under orders from the IRGC. If they don't respond, then they are giving Hezbollah carte blanche to attack them at will.
